The chalet boasts an ideal location for your stay. Near Munster, the village of storks! And close to the main centers of interest in the region (Gérardmer & La Bresse, Colmar and Little Venice, Turckheim, Kaysersberg and villages of the vineyard ...)

Everyone will find happiness! And comfort;

He expects more than you!

Soultzeren includes two reservoirs bucolic Water, Green and Lake Trout, also called Lake Forlet. Both are located in beautiful circuses, dominated by the peaks and High stubble.

They will give you the opportunity to make beautiful walks. This is one of the best that is in the Hautes Vosges.

Green Lake or Lake Soultzeren is located on the massif of Tanet at 1053 meters above sea level and is easy to access. Tanet The site dominates the glacial cirques of Green Lake and Lake Trout. Forlet Lake or Lake Trout, is the highest of the Vosges mountains and lakes is an ancient glacial cirque to the vertiginous walls. The Tanet (1292m) and the Turf Ridge (1306m), beautifully overlooking the lake. Thousand colors surround the lake: between bog, steep walls, rubble stones, trees and fir trees, all making us think of an alpine setting. And many hiking trails give you the opportunity to join the White Lake and Black Lake.

Our small valley is a paradise for hiking! Or on the ridges around the lakes you will discover a unique flora and fauna.

You must absolutely see the Wurtzelstein (Blast Furnace) is an isolated rock legends with multiple located above Soulzeren. It is accessible by trail Crest (GR 5). Great views on the Natural Reserve of Frankenthal-Missheimle and the Valley of Munster.

And do not miss The Rocks Trail "Strohmeyerpfad". This alpine trail, the best known of the massive, steep Slopes, overlooking the valley of Munster and the Alsace plain, the trail to the many ladders will make you think of the via ferrata Italian. We must not be afraid of heights! (In winter, the Rocks Trail is very dangerous and impractical).

There is also the Trail Hirschsteine It connects the Schlucht at Green Lake. This very alpine trail has passages in the rocks with beautiful views of the Munster Valley. A staircase of 50 meters provides access to the viewpoint of Hirschsteine (deer rocks).

It is impossible to list all the hikes to do. Hiking paths, nature trails, family walks or sports, over 350 km of marked trails take you to the heart of unspoilt nature with authentic landscapes and exceptional views. Do not miss the "Festival of Hiking the Haute-Alsace" One Weekend hikers 100%!

You want to let them walk in closet shoes ...

By car ! On the ridge road or on the cheese, let yourself be tempted by a marcaire meal!

The ridge road will allow you to easily cross the balloons of Vosges Mountains and discover splendid panoramas with its characteristic landscapes of the Vosges mountains. And, cheese road, you will spend near the most beautiful sights and take you to the stubble with grazing herds. It serves the farm inns of the Munster valley that perpetuate the tradition of true Munster farmer whose origin dates back to the X century recipe developed by the Benedictine monks of Munster. In addition to traditional Alsatian specialties such as sauerkraut, the pie outbreak, the baekaoffe, kougelhopf, innkeepers farmers offer those specific to the Munster valley: pies, roïgabrageldi, blueberry pies ... without forgetting Munster cheese which can be enjoyed in various ways and accompanied by the good wines of the valley.

You want to stroll through the cobbled streets of our villages and towns.

Munster and her two small weekly markets you can taste local products. This is the village of storks! Nearly 40 storks elect domicile there from spring to late summer. They have long had a soft spot for Munster, as evidenced by the 'tour with storks' of the market square and they tend to settle. Come admire the spring, they are at work, honing their nest few branches ... waiting for the little ones.

Turckheim at the entrance to the Munster valley, nestled in the heart of a vineyard on the wine route, has retained its historical heritage. It is also one of the few towns in France to have its authentic Night Watchman at night which makes his rounds ....

And best of Alsatian tourism, Kaysersberg, Colmar and the villages of the vineyard you can admire the traditional half-timbered houses, some of which are over a century old.

Alsace is dotted with medieval castles and ancient ruins. 200 castles dot the Alsace, among the most famous castles to visit: the High Koenigsbourg, the 3 castles of Ribeauvillé and Holandsbourg The castle and ruin the Pflixbourg, a beautiful walk in the forest and the majestic view of the valley Munster and the Alsace plain.

For those curious about the history, also see The Linen (visit War trenches 14-18), towards the Col du Wettstein at around 8 km from the cottage. The linen is a battlefield of 1914-1918 war. This battlefield, historical site, presents a striking appearance: the infrastructure of the solid German defense system very well preserved and French remains of trenches in loose soil are moving witnesses of the 'trench warfare'.

Looking for excitement more or less strong in the heart of the Vosges Schlucht. Sneak away at full speed on your summer toboggan! Race down the mountain on two tracks of 850 meters and let you slip! But beware, brake in time to keep control ...

Unless you prefer to learn about climbing Martinswand the site, or jump from tree to tree in Park Lac Blanc station Adventures with crossings to 10 meters high.

Ideally located in the winter, the chalet is next to the cross-country ski resorts and alpine skiing.

The 10 km Alpine ski resort Tanet. She will seduce you with its trails among the highest of the Vosges and its magnificent panorama. Located in the exceptional setting of glacial cirques of green lake and lake trout. It offers a variety and diversity of tracks that make it a popular site of blank spaces lovers.

A 15 km (La Schlucht - The Gaschney - The Schnepfenried)

Schlucht ski slopes with the Three Furnaces, located on the ridge road, between the Schlucht and Hohneck. It presents itself as a natural balcony with magnificent views of the Munster Valley, the Black Forest and the Alps. Its gently rolling slopes make it an ideal site for the family audience and beginners.

The Gaschney with its view of the massive Hohneck and its steep slopes, the Alpine resort of Gaschney is the sportiest resort of Vosges Mountains.

The Schnepfenried, Alpine skiing, cross country skiing, snow park, boarder-cross, it offers a wide range of winter activities for all.

And 20 minutes from La Bresse (the largest ski area in the North-East of France 220 hectares dedicated to skiing) can make the most of the pleasures of skiing ...

Activities for young and old alpine skiing, cross country skiing, snowboarding, sledging, walks or snowshoeing. Everyone will find happiness!

Not to mention the magic of Christmas markets in late November to late December. During the period of many Christmas Advent events are organized throughout the region; vigils, concerts, exhibitions, workshops ...

Looking forward to welcoming you!

See you very soon…

Chalet et propriétaires des plus agréables

  • 5 of 5

Formidable

  • 5 of 5

A découvrir !!! Pour nous à refaire très vite peut-être plus en février pour la neige.
