Peaceful hillside villa near traditional Spanish village well equiped

AdorVillaSpain is set on a hillside overlooking the traditional Spanish village of Ador, our villa has magnificent views of the whole valley filled with orange groves, surrounded by the Safor mountains and looking out towards the sea and Gandia. The award winning blue flag beaches are only a short 15 minute drive away. The villa has been completely refurbished over the last 2 years and most appliances and furniture are new. On one of the many terraces you'll find our brand new 10x5 saltwater tiled pool. To create a truly magical atmosphere, all the terraces and the pool can be illuminated at night. The villa is in the perfect location for a relaxing holiday, but still close enough to Gandia, Benidorm, Javea, Denia, Alicante & Valencia for more entertainment.

The Pool: The new tiled pool is now complete and is fitted with underwater lighting. A fully

automatic salt system ensures the optimum water quality without the stinging eyes and bleached hair of traditional chlorine treated pools.

The new pool has been divided into 3 different depths from less than 60 cm for the kids to the full depth of around 1.5m. The pool is fully enclosed and secured by a gate. In addition, a pool alarm is installed.

For infants: For infants we provide a high chair, travel cot and baby walker free of charge.

About Kevin Wilson (Spain)

Although born and raised in the UK, I now live with my wife in Switzerland. This gives us the wonderful opportunity of easily exploring many countries in Europe.

The house was purchased mainly as an investment but also a place where we could possibly retire to.

In the first year I spent many months visiting Spain, completing the refurbishments, a new pool and ensuring the house was a home from home.

We purchased this house in 2007 as an investment to operate solely as a rental unit. In the first year, many, many long days and visits to Spain were made to transform the house into a real home from home, which we feel is often lacking in the rental market. A new pool was also built and we first went into business in 2008. We hope you enjoy the results of our efforts and have a great, relaxing time in Spain.

What makes this villa unique

HOW DO I KNOW THIS IS NOT A SCAM? Sadly, scammers are now targeting listing sites by gaining access to the email accounts or adverts of owners and therefore intercepting messages and payments. The listing sites do little or nothing to combat the problem. How can you avoid being a victim? Most owners will have a varied web presence and can be found elsewhere with a little homework. A scammer will have none. For example, you can find me on Linkedin, Xing, Facebook, my own website, the LHM rental forum and other adverts. You’ll even find me listed in the phonebook. Ask for more proof of ownership, eg. photos of work done on the property or photos of the guestbook testimonials. Such requests will scare off most scammers. They want easy targets so don’t let them target YOU!

The villa is located 45 minutes from Valencia airport and about an hour and 15 minute drive from Alicante airport. The local village of Ador has a few bars, restaurants and a small supermarket and is typical of a real Spanish village rather than the tourist traps elsewhere. Only 10 minutes away is the thriving town of Gandia with it's shops and historic buildings. Around Gandia there is a choice of beaches; Gandia Playa, Guardamar, Piles, Daimus and Oliva. Oliva has a huge market on Fridays and Gandia on Saturdays. For golfers there's the 18 hole golf course near Oliva.

Based in Ador, you can chose to explore north to the beautiful city of Valencia, south to the popular coastal towns of Denia and Javea or inland to some of the towns tucked away among the mountains that surround the region.

Notes:
If, like me, you find it difficult to survive without a telephone and email, we have provided a PC and wireless access for guest use. There is also a phone available, with the bills being deducted from the damage deposit after you leave. There is a wide screen TV in the living room which receives satellite TV in various langauges. In case you get tired of watching the regional entertainment there is also a collection of DVDs and CD's as well as a Sony Playstation 2 with loads of games. Although bath towels and linen are provided it is recommended that you bring your own beach/pool towels. There are however some old spare ones in the villa in case you forget but these must be washed and dried by guests before leaving.

  • 100% refund if canceled at least 60 days before arrival date.
  • Service Fee fully refunded on cancellations that qualify for 100% refund.
