Ideal for tourists and foreign visitors to the city for short breaks or longer visits.

You will be close to the centre of the city and yet with all the advantages of this sophisticated residential neighbourhood with its bars, restaurants and haute couture - plus the fascination of one of Europe's great antique markets just a minute's walk away.

Also close to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington High Street.

Notting Hill Gate, Ladbroke Grove& Westbourne Pk tube stations within 12 mins walk.

Nice view

Close to the market

This apartment is as good as it looked in the photos. We really appreciated the garden right off the street with a great 'English' view from the window overlooking the church and nice white 19th century houses.

We were surpised at how close it was to get downtown - Soho and Kensington High Street were less than 20 minutes away. Travel was expensive until we discovered Oyster cards and we had a great time visiting Greenwich, Kew gardens and Tate Modern. Portobello market on Saturday was our favourite place to hang out.

Arriving on early morning flight meant we had to wait for the check-in time but Bella was helpful while we waited.

Both the flat and the area met our needs for a great 8 nday holiday.

Perfectly located

We had 10 nights over Christmas on our first trip to London in Karen’s apartment. It was just perfect. So close to so many good places to eat and shop. Portobello Rd is just at the end of the street. Notting Hill is such a beautiful area and it was easy to get to everything in London on the tube and the bus. The apartment is exactly as pictured and has everything you need. Yes it’s small but it’s perfectly adequate. Comfy bed. Nice and warm. The couch is not super comfortable but the leather chair is and it’s lovely to sit looking out the window at the garden and the beautiful houses. Would I recommend it??? With no hesitation.

Life in a Notting Hill Neighborhood

My wife and I had a great vacation in this Notting Hill Neighborhood. The 2 room flat has just about everything you could need for a comfortable stay. The kitchen area has all the necessary appliances and also includes a small, efficient washing machine. The flat includes books, guides, CDs, and TV for entertainment. The big windows afford wonderful light with a view of the property's garden grounds right outside the windows. The tall ceilings add to the flat's sense of space. The nearby neighborhood village offers essentials, groceries, bakeries, dining options, and the great Portobello Market all within walking distance. London's world class subway and bus services are within 5-10 minutes walks. It was great base to explore London by day and return home to a comfortable flat at night. Karen always provided us with timely responses to questions, and suggestions to enjoy our stay.

Perfect Notting Hill Location & To-Die-For View of All Saints Church

Perfect location! Lovely apartment and lovely gardens with a to-die-for view of All Saints Church. Right near Portobello Road with its markets, pubs, bakeries, restaurants, cinema and eclectic stores. Right in the middle of all the Notting Hill Carnival activities, in case you're interested in that. Short walk to beautiful Kensington Gardens, relaxing Kyoto Gardens and easy access to Notting Hill Gate station.

The owner, Karen, was incredibly helpful - making sure we knew how to get to the apartment, what restaurants she and other guests recommend, with transportation suggestions, etc. Everything you need for your stay is in the apartment. Quite clean and efficient. Good safety. In fact, during the Notting Hill Carnival, they had marvelous security for all the guests. Close to Sainsbury and Tesco groceries, several pharmacies, etc. Would love to stay here again.

Perfect flat, perfect location

The flat was perfect for us! It was bright , modern and very comfortable. It was a bonus being close to Porobello Road. I also very much enjoyed the garden in front. We'd love to stay again next visit to London.

Just off the famous Portobello Rd and situated in a quiet cul-de-sac in the heart of Notting Hill, this bright flat in a 19th Century mansion block is a perfect location from which to explore London. Its leafy, gated garden provides a pleasant and secure setting for your stay in London. A ten minute tube journey from Notting Hill tube will take you to the heart of the city with art galleries, West End theatres and the River Thames. You are just 5 minutes from Paddington Station and the express train from there to Heathrow Airport.

There are 3 cinemas close by including the famous Electric Cinema, many great bars, cafés and restaurants. The famous Michelin starred ' Ledbury' with its fabulous set lunch is just a block away. There are excellent clothes shops in Westbourne Grove (2 mins walk), one fascinating mile of antique shops on your doorstep, and delicious patisseries and deli such as Ottolengi (3 mins). Just along the road are the famous music shops of Honest John's Records and Rough Trade. In addition, the elegant tree-lined residential architecture of Notting Hill makes this a very pleasant area to see on foot, as you walk towards Hyde park or Holland Park, or down Kensington High Street. Knightsbridge and Harrods are just a short bus-ride away, as are the V & A and the Science and Natural History Museums

This is a fascinating and vibrant neighbourhood. There is a great sense of community and there are many families with young children around. The owner has run a music business in the area since 1974. He knows Notting Hill and its people well and will be happy to give you more information on where to go and what to see.
