Why Jennifer Restivo chose Beach Institute
This property is freshly decorated and still contains the cute historical details of a cottage built at the turn of the century. It is also very reasonably priced. Its in the historic district! You don't need a car as Kroger grocery store is a 5 minute walk. There is a free tourist bus stop about 5 blocks away that loops around the entire historic district.

Vacationing in a big city
The minute I saw the photos, I knew this was the place for our getaway...clean and beautifully decorated with all the amenities close to the beaches and downtown Savannah. We felt comfortable the minute we arrived! One hiccup, on the second night one of our mountain bikes were stolen from the locked Thule roof rack of our vehicle which was parked directly in front of the apartment. Visiting from New England we realized after the fact that Savannah, unfortunately, is no different than many large cities and you need to be mindful about what you leave in or on your car. The neighborhood and surrounding area is a mix of beautifully refurbished buildings, new development, and a few run-down areas. We enjoyed the time away exploring and liked the fact we could easily walk to the downtown area shops, restaurants, and grocery store. I would highly recommend staying here, it really was awesome, just be mindful that you are in a large city.
Liked the walking distance to some local cafes and Forsyth Park. Also an easy 20 minute walk to river street.
Jen was an amazing host and very prompt in answering any questions. It’s very close to the historic district we spent hours wandering the oak lined streets. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to experience this city. Thank you Jen for being amazing.
I'll be back!
So happy with our stay, all the comforts of home away from home. Great location too! Thank you.
We enjoyed our stay everything thing was clean location was convenient neighborhood was great
There is a free dog park across the street at Mother Matilda Beasley Park. There is also a fun playground for kids. The home is less than a mile to River Street and about a 5 minute walk to Kroger and Forsyth Park. There is also a great new cafe called Mate' Factor on Hall Street (it is closed on Saturdays).
