Two Weeks in Florence
My husband and I stayed in this lovely apartment for two weeks. It contains all the amenities and is ideally located - close enough to walk to all the main sites but far enough away to be relatively quiet. Grocery stores, bakeries, bars and a number of wonderful restaurants are all a few steps away.
Great location, Roomy and beautiful and priced well.
We loved this property. The floor plan allowed maximum use of space. The bedroom was located in the back, where it was quiet. The air conditioners worked great throughout the apartment. The main floor and loft were very roomy and the pull out sofa bed, which normally I hate, was very comfortable. The ceiling (from the 15th century) was gorgeous and added to the beautiful space. In addition, there were many amenities-washer, drying rack, espresso machine, dish washer, etc. It was also priced well.
Perfect For Us
Spacious and airy apartment in the heart of Florence. Very nicely remodeled. Easy walking distance to all the major attractions. The A/C worked great!
Felt at home and appreciated the contemporary design!
Location was excellent and out of the way of the regular siteseeing crowds.
Great place to stay
We really enjoyed our stay. The apartment is very spacious, clean and well decorated. The down stairs bathroom and shower are uncharacteristically large for an Italian bathroom. The bedroom is very spacious and quiet but the bed was not very comfortable. The wifi worked well for a couple of days but our last 3 days it didn't work but the owner was very attentive in getting it fixed. The location is within 10 minutes walking distance to the train station and very close to many of the popular land sights in Florence. Plenty of great places to shop, eat and buy food around the vicinity of the apartment. I would stay there again
Thank you for your nice review. As for the bed, no one has ever complained, so I am surprised that it was not comfortable for you ...
But, of course, the bed is a very personal thing, and so I understand.
Thanks again for choosing us! I hope to have the opportunity to welcome you again soon! All the best!
The apartment is located on the 2nd floor of Palazzo Frescobaldi, a 17th century house, which is part of the prestigious Palazzo Lenzi, home of the French Consulate. Comfortable, furnished with designer furniture that give it a modern and welcoming. Located near the river Arno, this luxury apartment is located in one of the most elegant, exclusive and peaceful Florentine neighborhoods 'Borgo Ognissanti' which despite being in the center of the old city, is calm and the police station in front gives a feeling of security. orgo Ognissanti which owes its name to the church of Ognissanti is a street full of shops, excellent restaurants (both Italian and international) and offers a variety of small and large activities designed to meet every need. Considering Florence a very quiet city, the presence of the Carabinieri barracks makes Borgo Ognissanti a very safe area both day and night. Ideal for everyday shopping is the Conad supermarket born right next to the apartment. For the greedy I recommend the Becagli oven (also next to the apartment) where you will find fresh bread, crushed and excellent breakfast ideas every morning. For the last couple of years, on the other side of the street, the Blanco bar has opened, a very well-kept restaurant that is perfect for breakfast or a quick lunch. Going towards Piazza Goldoni (shortly after the Carabinieri barracks) I recommend the San Carlo, a very informal bar but ideal for an aperitif at the end of the evening (their drinks are excellent). Tired of so much culture? No problem in Via Maso Finiguerra is the multiplex cinema Marconi always full of first visions. For those who want to indulge in some pampering, I recommend the Javasun spa. Finally, but of primary importance, between Borgo Ognissanti and Maso Finiguerra are located all the most famous car rental agencies (Avis, Hertz, Europecar, Maggiore etc.) that will allow you to rent a car for day trips or to continue your journey to your next destination. Ideally located for walking to all the traditional sights. Most importantly, you can walk to and from the train station. Nearby are also important business areas with antique shops, crafts and clothing with the most important signatures of Made in Italy. Great restaurants with typical Tuscan and international cuisine, bars, are within walking distance. Also near there, garage, car rentals, pharmacies, supermarkets and banks.
