Balcony facing South, 5th floor with lift, very sunny, parking under building

410 square feet, 5th floor with elevator, beautiful view on the Mont Blanc and its mountain range, fully renovated in 2011, light oak flooring, cordinated furniture , very bright living room with high ceilings on the top floor, balcony facing south, TV (TNT)-DVD-CD player-USB, WIFI, sofa with pull out bed (2x35 inches), separate bedroom with a 55 inches bed (two mattresses and box springs), wardrobe. Bathroom with shower and toilet. Parking access in the residence.

Chamonix valley offers a wide variety of sports and recreation. In winter all types of skiing: cross country, downhill tracks with possibility of skiing at high altitude and on glacier like the Mer de Glace from the Aiguille du Midi, ski touring with the famous one week tour from Chamonix to Zermatt in Switzerland, also climbing frozen waterfalls ice skating and snowshoeing.

In summer, Chamonix is a paradise for family hikes as well as for seasonned montaineers with a huge selection of medium / high mountain trails , glacier walking, ascenscions climbing.

You can also do paragliding, montain biking, not to mention tennis, a beautiful golf course and finally to relax an aquatic center with steam room and sauna.

Importantly, all these activities are practiced in an exceptional setting , in every turn, every time you raise your eyes, you will be fascinated by the beauty, the majesty of the peaks and needles surrounding the highest peak in Europe.

Almost perfect!

We rented this flat for the period leading up to Christmas and apart from the lack of snow every thing was perfect. The owner was really helpful and the apartment was excellently positioned (underground parking and not far from the centre or from the bus to get to the slopes)

There is a supermarket near the apartment where we could buy everything we needed and the flat is really well equipped (TV, Wi-Fi, very comfortable beds)

The flat is on the top floor and we couldn't hear any noise in the evenings unless we went on the balcony (wonderful view of the Aiguille de midi).

We had a great time in chamonix and would definitely recommend this apartment!

Très bonne appartement

L'appartement est très bien ! Il est bien situé avec vue sur le mont-blanc pour profiter pendant l'apéro !

Près des commerces et du téléphérique de l'aiguille du midi.

Le salon est très grand ce qui permet d'être à 4 sans problèmes et sans se marcher dessus.

La salle de bain est la cuisine (malgré l'absence d'un vrai four) sont très bien aussi.

En gros rien à dire !

Et en plus, il y a une place de parking et le Wi-fi de l'immeuble !

Ce fut de très bonnes vacances.

PS : il y a effectivement des bars en bas de l'immeuble, bar qui ferme à 1h du matin et qui ne sont pas si bruyants que ça (et puis c'est pratique d'avoir un bar sympa en bas de chez soi !).

Vacanza favolosa

L'appartamento molto confortevole e ben arredato, in ottima posizione e con una vista spettacolare sul Monte Bianco e l'Aguille du Midi direttamente dal terrazzino.

Si trova nella piazzetta principale di Chamonix Sud, tranquilla, a due passi dal centro e in prossimità della Funivia.

L'appartamento è ben insonorizzato con serramenti nuovi e con tripli vetri.

Ci siamo trovati molto bene e contiamo di ritornarci.

NEGATIVE

Un désagrément de taille : LE BRUIT qui nous a fait interrompre notre séjour, 3 pubs situés au bas de l'immeuble et fréquentés par des fêtards anglais génèrent un VACARME INFERNAL.Les patrons de ces établissements que nous avons rencontré nous ont prévenu que ce tapage nocturne serait notre quotidien et non une exception du week-end comme le pretend la propiriétaire.L'annonce n'évoquait pas bien sur ce nuissances.

Owner's Response: L’appartement est loué depuis 4 ans mais c’est la première fois que j’ai une plainte, ce qui est d’autant plus perturbant qu’elle est très virulente. Je viens de relire les 12 appréciations ‘ (10 notés 5 étoiles , les deux autres 4 étoiles) que j’ai sur un autre site. Parfois les vacanciers mentionnent les bruits provenant de la place mais personne ne parle de vacarme infernal. Certains écrivent que cela ne les a pas empêches de dormir ou que ça n’a pas été un problème avec des bouchons d’oreilles. Beaucoup expriment l’envie de revenir et sont revenus, tel un couple de sportifs qui ont retenu trois années de suite pour participer à l’ultra trail (je dirai que le repos est important pour eux) ou un couple avec deux enfants qui sont déjà venus deux fois. Je maintiens qu’il y a moins de bruit la semaine et regrette le départ intempestif de ce Monsieur. Pour éviter d’autres inconvénients l’appartement sera équipé de vitrages anti bruits pour la saison d’hiver 2016.
