The apartment got 7 July 2011 the QUALITY LABEL BELLEVILLE VALLEY 4 with Ibex RED become '4 FLOCONS "OR" in 2016. This label describes this apartment 'LUXURY' and 'charming'.

Located on the top of 'Asters', at 1800 meters, Balcony Plein Sud with view directly on the slopes whose 'Treetop CARON'.

Direct access to the slopes downhill after 2 floors. consists of 2 parts of 42 m² including 30 m² and 12 m² Carrez law by more than 1.80 m high on the mezzanine.

- Living room with table, two chairs, bench-boot and 4 folding chairs, sofa with trundle and 'bridge' on the whole, Bar chest with many board games, LCD TV 81cm on HDMI connection with DVD player and some DVDs available, various mountain decorations including a wall covered in 'windfall'.

- Kitchen 'American' with work table and the following equipment: Dishwasher, Refrigerator-Freezers, Combo Oven-Microwave, ceramic hob Induction 3 lights surmounted by a hood, Toaster, Coffee Maker, Cocotte Minute , Wok, and many kitchen utensils various special induction stoves.

- Bathroom redone in June 2011 with tiled walls - toilet, with electric towel rail.

- Sleeping area if preferred knowing that the apartment is strictly limited to a maximum occupancy of 4 persons as mentioned in the contract.

- A large mezzanine with double bed 'king-size' 160x200 and 220x240 duvet and 2 bedside tables and lamps, a wardrobe, a large table with two chairs, a 'rag' to 6 drawers, 6 drawer dresser, another LCD TV 81cm on his cabinet with VHS player and movies on VHS.

- We will make available free INTERNET access via an Ethernet cable (ADSL 18 mega) and free access to the fixed telephone to the metropolis (excluding paid services including international and mobile) and the ORANGE TV.

- A 'lock' input, and therefore in the apartment, allows to deposit skis, poles, boots, jackets, etc ... A corridor leads to the different rooms including the staircase leading to the mezzanine, plus a dresser. Access to the slopes is 2 floors below the apartment.

- The apartment is renovated in mountain style, called 'Le Grenier' furniture honey pine or oiled or waxed.

New year 2015

The apartment is compact but had everything we needed as a family of four. The open plan kitchen/dining/living area is cozy but comfortable, we had planned to eat out but found it easy to cook so ended up eating in all but one night. The mezzanine bedroom area was a pleasant surprise being bigger than we imagined , the second bedroom is small but our boys found it fine. We had good snow and could ski to door all but two flights of stairs, nearest lift is a short ski which then provides easy access to Val Thoren and the rest of the 3 valleys. Menuires has a reasonable selection of restaurants and a supermarket. The owner was very friendly and helpful throughout, we will return

Wonderful Stay in Les Asters

We have just returned from a very enjoyable stay in Les Asters in Les Menuires. The owner was a pleasure to deal with right from the first enquiry - very prompt with responses and with returning the security deposit after our stay (and very patient with my rusty French!) All instructions on location and key collection were clear and trouble free.

The apartment is just as the pictures & description show: cosy, well-equipped, and local flavour in the decor. As with most ski apartments, the bunk room was indeed a tight squeeze for 2 adults but the beds were very comfortable and I wouldn't hesitate to claim that room again in a future stay!

The ski-in/ski-out aspect was great with only 2 flights of stairs to be tackled in ski boots (rubber floors so easy/safe to walk). From outside, the front door opens into a storage area for equipment so all snowy gear can easily be removed before entering the living area.

There is easy access to the Reberty, Doron, and Masse I lifts so in no time at all you are connected to all of Les Menuires's options (and beyond).

In the nearby Astragale building there are 2 ski rental shops and a small grocery shop/bakery that is open in the morning. The walk up to the supermarket in La Croisette was about 15 minutes on the dedicated footpath.

All in all we were very happy with our stay and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it (and return!!)

Wonderful Apartment!

We had a great stay at this apartment in January. Very well equipped, lots of space, straight on to the piste and a big comfy bed. Will definitely stay here again if we return to Les Menuires.

Coquet appartement conforme à la description, vue dégagée, terrasse,

bien équipé, meublé et décoré chaleureusement.

Bien situé pour partir skis aux pieds de la résidence.

A 5 minutes des magasins (location de matériel ski, courses, restaurants ….)

Une sympathique attention des propriétaires vous attendra ...Rare !

bel appartement, bien équipé.

Propriétaire serviable et de bons conseils.

Petit bémol sur la localisation (trop excentré et appartement trop élevé)

Déception en ce qui concerne la station, aucun effort de prix sur les tarifs remontées (1/3 ouvertes et neige de mauvaise qualité)

Pas d'animation.

Owner's Response: Les vacanciers ont subis un début de saison exceptionnellement en manque de neige avec bien sûr peu de pistes ouvertes ce qui a été constaté dans toutes les stations de sports d'hiver. Il en est résulté les remarques propres au seul manque de neige. Nous retiendrons l'avis très favorable sur l'appartement et l'accueil qu'ils ont reçus.

Fabulous location and well equipped apartment

Thank you for a fantastic stay. We really did feel it was a home away from home, with all the comforts you would want. The location is ideal for ski in ski out (you only have to go down 2 of the 4 flights of stairs and can take the back way out), albeit at this time of year the lifts close early so you have to get the last lift to make sure you do not have to walk home! The welcome pack included a lovely bottle of local wine and delicious home made goodies.

it is very convenient for the ski school and amenities at La Croisette, where we found everything we needed, including sheet and towel rental from the Pressoir (this was our first ever home stay and we did not bring linen, the Guardien gave us the number for the Pressoir and they stayed open for us to collect the linen on our first night). The walk to the village centre (La Croisette) is uphill but does not take that long. The path is well lit and well groomed.

The underground parking is a short walk away from the apartment so we did not use the car much while we were staying, but it was great not to have to worry about snow on the car when we were leaving early in the morning.

As we were travelling with our young child, we ate out with him at lunchtime rather than sampling the nightlife. We ate at the Tex Mex restaurant which does excellent pizzas and also at L'Etoile at the top of the beginners' lift from La Croisette, where the food and service was excellent. The New Year's Eve entertainment was well worth the walk up to the village.

This was a great apartment for a family, as the bunk bed room closes off from the rest of the living space, allowing our child to go to sleep early. It would not be good if you struggle with stairs and bending down as the ladder to the mezzanine is very steep with low head height at the top. After bumping our heads once or twice, we leaned our lesson!

In conclusion, fantastic location, accommodation and amenities. Everything you could want for a relaxing ski holiday.
