3 bedroomed ground floor apartment with furnished terrace

The apartment comprises a spacious entrance hall leading onto a modern kitchen with dining table. There is a washing machine and tumble dryer in the kitchen. Next to the kitchen is a large sitting room and dining area with furnished outdoor terrace. The sitting room has a working fireplace. There is a flat screen TV and a Sony DVD player in the sitting room. There is also and Ipod docking station and WiFi throughout the apartment.

The master bedroom has a Queen size bed with en suite bath and shower room. There are two further twin bedded rooms and a shower room adjacent to the twin bedrooms.

All rooms have French doors leading onto the lawned area that surrounds the apartment.

The apartment has a shared pool that is heated from April to October and is surrounded by attractive shrubs and is provided with comfortable sun loungers.

Within the resort, there is golf (on the 18 hole championship course) as well as a driving range, putting green and practise area. Go to www.praia-del-rey.com to look at more detailed information about golf and the resort itself. Other nearby golf courses are Golden Eagle near Rio Major (35 mins North of Lisbon) which is set in a landscape of outstanding natural beauty; www.goldeneagle-golfresort.com. Also well worth a visit is the nearby Bom Sucesso developement; designated as a Project of National Interest due to its innnovative design and also boasting an 18 hole Championship golf course: www.bomsucesso.net.

There is a tennis centre across from the apartment which has seven all weather multi sport courts. and the nearby 5* Marriot resort hotel boasts an indoor and outdoor pool, gym, spa and hairdressers.

The beaches near to the apartment have impressive waves, although nearby Obidos lagoon is altogether calmer.

The children's playground on the resort, set in an attractive garden area is just a short walk up the road from the apartment.

Older children and teenagers will enjoy the activities such as surfing lessons and cycling available at Club Aventura next to the clubhouse; go to www.praia-del-rey.com

The nearby Marriot Hotel which is within the resort itself has a large outdoor pool as well as indoor pool, gym, sauna, spa and hairdressers. The hotel has several bars and restaurants.

Wat a great, large appartment in beautiful surroundings! A fully equiped home. Clean! Swimmingpool nearby. Wifi :) Lots of nice places to go in the neighbourhood. Ferell, Peniche, Obidos, Nazaré, Fátima,Sintra and Lisboa. The Silver Coast in Portugal, beautiful! Thank you for the pleasant stay! We loved it in Praia d'El Rey!

Ideal para relaxar e descansar.

Casa excelente, bem equipada e com tudo o que necessário para umas óptimas ferias. Bem localizada em relação a piscina, Praia a 5m de carro. Resort sossegado a 20-30 min de Peniche e Óbidos. Proprietária espectacular e bastante atenciosa. Recomendo vivamente.

Great Place!

The apartment is really comfortable. All the facilities as we have at home. The kitchen is very well equiped. Very clean as well. Both the owner and the person who is in encharge were very nice and were always available. I will return for sure :)

Fantastic!

We have stayed at this apartment six times now and have always had a wonderful holiday. The apartment has a great location on the complex - really close to the pool, which always has adequate space to find a sun-lounger. It is a short walk to the club house too. The apartment is beautifully kept with all of the home from home luxuries you would expect. There are a number of supermarkets nearby and further afield there are the large hypermarkets - all the information is laid out for you in an information booklet. You do need a car for this holiday, unless you are planning on just staying in the resort, which would also be perfectly possible. The golf courses are wonderful too, challenging, but wonderful! The club house and hotel on the resort offers a great choice of snacks and meals if you don't feel like self-catering and the local restaurants are varied and excellent quality. We would highly recommend this apartment, have a great holiday.

Great Apartment: The corner spot makes it special

The booking process with the owner was really excellent. She gave us all the details we requested and more and the whole experience was so user friendly.

The Apartment is beautifully fitted and decorated and is so comfortable (not like many Portuguese apartments) They have all the facilities (WiFi, Nespresso, DVD, Bose sound system, juicer, washers and dryers (Dish and Clothes)

The corner location is perfect. 20 second walk to the pool and your own private garden. We had the most wonderful holiday in this beautiful apartment. Dont hesitate to book!!

The region is known as The Silver Coast because of its long stretches of beautiful sandy beaches. The ocean is the Atlantic with extremely powerful waves. For swimming, there is also the Obidos Lagoon which is extremely peaceful; This is Portugal’s largest natural lagoon and is a European protected habitat for wild birds with Booted Eagles, Herons, many types of finches and wild-fowl.... a real haven for bird-watchers.

There are lots of local towns and fishing villages worth visiting and of course Lisbon is only around an hour away and well worth making the effort to visit.

Nearby is Obidos; parts of the town date from 300BC and it is a picture postcard walled town with narrow streets and bougainvillea covering the houses. The churches inside the town are interesting and there is also a small museum. The Pousada hotel at the far end of the town is worth visiting for an evening drink in its pretty courtyard. Obidos has many quaint gift shops and wine shops.

Towns such as Leiria and Caldas de Rainha are great for shopping. Leiria has a large student population and has many funky clothes shops that would appeal to young people.Caldas de Rainha has a great outdoor market and a fish market.

Other Places worth visiting are:

St Martinho de Porto- a pleasant seaside town, great for an afternoon stroll or coffee.

Peniche- a working fishing port with a 16th century fortress and many great fish restaurants. You can also take boat trips to the Berlangas Islands which are a nature reserve .

Bombarral: This is a local wine producing town and you can book some wine tasting at Quinta do Sanguinhal.

Baleal: This is where surfers gather and has a good beach and nice selection of beach bars.

Alcobaca: This plays host to Europe's oldest monastery. For a good overview of the area, go to www.praia-del-rey.com

The apartment is situated on the ground floor and so has easy access to the heated pool which is a very short walk away through the grounds of the apartment buildings and can be seen from the apartment. The apartment is situated on a corner plot and so is surrounded by lush green lawns. Each bedroom has its own small terrace; perfect for reading a book in the afternoon. The main terrace opening up from the lounge and dining area is spacious and has a table/ seating for eight people. This area is perfect for breakfast, lunch or an evening barbecue.
