Les Vuargnes Chalet is part of a block of 4 with communal gardens as well as a private secure garden. There are 3 bedrooms, sleeping 9 persons spread over 3 floors. The lower level has a large bedroom with accommodation for 5 persons, a shower room with hand basin, separate toilet and a ski and boot drying area. The ground floor has a separate entrance hallway, downstairs cloakroom and toilet and leads on to the large lounge with open fireplace and patio door opening onto the enclosed garden with plenty of space for eating al fresco, barbeques, and great views across the valley to the peaks beyond. There is a small kitchen and a separate dining area. On the upper level there are two spacious bedrooms, one sleeping 3 people has 2 single beds which can be arranged as a twin bed plus a further single bed, the other bedroom is a mezzanine with a king size bed. Bathroom with bath, shower over, basin and bidet. Separate toilet. The 3 levels are connected by a spiral staircase. There is a shared parking area outside with one car space allocated to the apartment

We have stayed at this accommodation several times. It is well located for access to ski lifts and the restaurants / bars of Morzine. It is well maintained and we have enjoyed staying – sometimes as a couple and other times as two families. The sleeping accommodation is flexible and the three toilets really do mean that the property can be used by up to around 10 people. Highly recommended.

Children over the age of 5 years are welcome. The spiral staircase makes the chalet unsuitable for younger children. Summer Multipass holder - Portes du Soleil area pass allowing use of many facilities from just 2 euro per person per day. Excellent chalet to stay in Morzine.

We stayed at this chalet for 1 week from the 15th January 2017, the chalet was competitively priced, and worth every penny. It was located close to every thing that we needed, only 5-10mins walk to the lifts, loads of good bars and restaurants within walking distance. There was everything that we needed in the chalet for our stay, the kitchen was well equipped, also loads of board games, books and DVD's available to use. The owner was very pleasant to deal with and she was very efficient when responding to any email correspondence. Can't wait to set a date for a 2018 return to the chalet.

Great location and plenty of space.

We were really happy with the location of property. Less than 10 minutes walk into the centre of Morzine but also very quiet and peaceful. The apartment is very well equipped and very well looked after. We enjoyed having the outside space. My only, minor, criticism would be the lack of a washing machine. We had flown over and had to make several trips to the launderette but apart from that I would thoroughly recommend this spacious and well set out apartment.

Owner's Response: We would love to offer our guests washing machine facilities but space is limited so we opted for a dishwasher instead. The launderette is nearby, and there is a rotary washing line for drying hand washed items.

Very nice clean appartment in great location

Nice clean and tidy appartment minutes from the centre of Morzine and ski lifts. Quite basic facilities but everything we needed for our stay. Owner and management company very easy to deal with, would happily use again.

We had a great time in the chalet; its so well located. We had been to Morzine in the iwnter for skiing before, but the summer was a revelation. Nearly as busy as the height of ski season; just warmer. loads of walking to do (450km) great weather- most days, and everything beautifully accessible from the chalet. The chalet itself was also a delight. all necessary facilities, well maintained, clean and tidy and plenty of space and with good views of the mountains. Great location. Great chalet.

Super stay, chalet and lots of snow.

Have just returned from a short ski trip to Morzine, staying at Les Vuargnes.

The chalet is wonderful, great location, easy to walk to ski lifts, restaurants and bars, there was a great micro brewery just round the corner. The chalet was excellently equipped and immaculately clean. If arriving late, I would recommend using their service of buying a few essentials in for you as supermarkets close about 7pm. I will be returning next year for a longer trip.

Les Vuargnes is situated in a great central location in Morzine town, convenient for all important amenities such as the two main ski lifts (5 minute walk each) supermarkets, restaurants and bars; all within easy walking distance. The free resort bus stops at the end of our road - a 3min walk downhill! The position works just as well in summer as in winter and there are a host of attractions in the local area. The phenomenal Portes du Soleil ski area with 280 pistes covering 650km of networked skiing, which offers a similar summer challenge in terms of hiking, climbing, mountain biking and regularly plays host to the Tour de France - the world's most famous and demanding road bike endurance event. Summer treats include white water rafting, tennis, swimming and some gorgeous lakes set in an awesome display of Alpine peaks. Waymarked rambling routes and BBQ opportunities abound, and of course there is always the famous Haute Savoie cuisine and local wines to savour.
