3 kilometres from the beach set near Pine forests & opposite farmlands
Why Susan Fortella chose Conil de la Frontera
We brought our villa because we just fell in love with it as soon as we saw it. And we had seen many. The lay out of the villa, the space the privacy the location, large garden ,private parking, forest the beaches everything really. Restaurants within walking distance. And then the Costa Del la Luz the beaches and what it has to offer.
What makes this Villa unique
Just having your on space and time away with friends and family, enjoying there company. Privacy your own swimming pool and garden and parking felling happy in your surroundings. But still close enough to civilization to see this region of Spain but then looking forward to come back to your get away.

We had a lovely family holiday at this villa, travelling with 3 children. The villa was clean and well equipped. The children loved the pool and we enjoyed eating outside and cooking on the bbq. The local beaches are all beautiful with fine golden sand, clear water and fun waves for body boarding. We particularly enjoyed visiting nearby Conil and kayaking at Santi Petri. Communication with Sue was very good.
Thank you for your review I am glad you all had a good holiday x
This truly was a home from home
My husband and 2 children (7 and 4) loved this place. We stayed for a week at the end of May (low 20's for us so not too hot). The pool was great fun and a good size, the kitchen was well equipped and the wi-fi was invaluable for researching places to visit. We definitely needed a car to access the beaches but for a close place to eat there is Mar y Monte down the road which we visited on 3 of the nights-it has a beautiful flower filled outdoor area and a warm cosy indoor restaurant too. The Callefour supermarket was perfect for all our food and drink and the beach (through the gated urbanisation) at Roche is beautiful with turquoise water and a nice boat themed restaurant called El timon de roche. We also drove to Tarifa and took a boat to see whales and dolphins, (this is also great for boutique shopping) plus the Hurricane hotel is fab for lunch and overlooks another beautiful beach and is not far from the sand dunes (Playa de Bolonia) to watch the kite surfing. Restaurante LaTorre, El Palmar was a quirky place to eat and has swings hanging from the ceiling as chairs and yet another lovely beach! We wished we could have stayed another week!
Home away from home
We had a lovely stay in this immaculate villa in a part of Spain we had not visited before. It was a great base to explore local (busy) beaches and also to make day trips to Cadiz and even Gibraltar.
Lovely villa in rural Spain
We have recently returned from a relaxing week in Villa Fortella. The property was just as described. It was well maintained, with a very comfortable lounge, bedrooms, bathrooms and a well equipped kitchen. It also had a TV with UK Channels which worked! The pool was clean and much appreciated during the heatwave we experienced.Manalos, a small supermarket which was 10 minutes walk away through the pine forest was a brilliant find with fantastic local fruit and vegetables! It was also open up until 3pm on a Sunday which was a bonus for us when we arrived. The nearby beaches were beautiful and there were lots of places to visit by car and bus.
I would highly recommend this villa and would love to return in the future.
Great property in a great location
Just returned from a relaxing week at Villa Fortella. Made full use of the facilities at the villa - garden, pool and BBQ. The villa is in a rural location, but has good road links for day trips to Seville, Cadiz and Jerez, as well as shorter trips to Vejer and Conil. Nearby beaches are very good, plenty of space during our visit in June.
Susan was extremely pleasant to deal with, prompt replies to emails plus a whole host of information about the area and things to do was sent through before we left the UK.
Would definitely recommend
We love Villa Fortella
Another fabulous week in Villa Fortella. The villa was better than ever looking so bright and fresh. With the newly re-tiled pool and beautiful garden we had our usual 5* holiday in Roche Viejo. We love the proximity to a selection of beaches, never using a main road. Even the rural Venta up the lane is all sprooced up and very tempting. With the horticulture i
Business in the surrounding field we had a fabulous aroma of fresh mint! It's unusual to have 2 covered terraces and with the amazing cloudless skies we could alternate if we wanted shade. Thank you again Susan, your your home in the sun is top notch and a totally predictable 100% guaranteed holiday spot! We'll be back soon.
Our villa is situated in a lovely tranquil location within easy reach of Conil a pretty white coastal town with cobbled streets. It’s a lively town with weekly markets tapas bars, pavement cafes and restaurants inviting you to take part in the Spanish way of life. Also near is Nova Sancti Petri, a more modern town with fine seafront restaurants, hotels, horse riding, water sports and a highly acclaimed 36 hole golf course, with other golf courses nearby. The region is famous for it’s spectacular scenery and rich traditions. Charming villages and towns grace this unique region that you can enjoy year round thanks to the fair sunny climate. Cadiz said to be the oldest inhabited city in Europe, Seville, with its magnificent architecture Medina Sedonas 15th century church and many other old hill top villages close by. The Costa del La Luz is relatively undeveloped and there are many untouched vast white sandy beaches, which even in the summer you'll have no problem finding a quiet space.
