Absolutely stunning property and views!!

  • 5 of 5

We had the best time ever! The cabin was completely stunning! The pictures don’t do it justice! And the Mountain View’s are incredible! It’s defintely high up on the mountain so I would be careful driving at night but other than that it’s a dream! We didn’t want to leave. We went skiing during our stay at Ober Gatlinburg. That was so much fun! We also went hiking in the National Park. It even snowed on one of our days! We woke up to a winter Wonderland and it was just so gorgeous! I highly recommend staying at heavens edge. Pam is also so sweet and so nice to work with. Our trip was amazing!

Thanks so much for such a nice place for our family vacation. We loved Heavens Edge and will definitely stay again. We felt right at home with plenty of room for our group of 12. The view is incredible and the cabin was well equipped with everything we needed to make it enjoyable. We really enjoyed cooking big family meals and sitting around the large dinning room table together. The game room was nice for the younger ones and there were many movies and books to choose from to relax and enjoy our leisure time. Well done! I think we have found our new home away from home. Thanks Pam.

Amazing Cabin with goregeous views lives up to it’s name - Heaven’s Edge.

  • 5 of 5

This cabin was much more beautiful in person than the pictures. We could not have imagined the views from our cabin would be so spectacular.

The cabin was extremely spacious, and with all the commodities for our family of 6, and our 2 guests to enjoy comfortably. Very quiet and private.

The decor was very homey and the furniture very sturdy, yet comfy. Plenty of space to lounge and sleep. Several areas to entertain guests.

Plenty of things for kids to do–board games, puzzles, pool table, AND a vintagr arcade machine, definitely the kid’s favorite part.

Close enough to Gatlinburg to head down enjoy the town, visit the Ripley’s aquarium, or grab a bite to eat.

We loved staying at Heaven’s Edge and will deinitely book it again in the future!

Fantastic Stay!

  • 5 of 5

We stayed over the Thanksgiving Holiday with 3 families, a total of 12. The layout was great, very modern and clean. Open floor plan as we cooked meals every night. The children enjoyed the game room and we enjoyed the hot tub after hiking for several hours. The only recommendation would be to add a treadmill and a basketball rim to allow for outdoor activities. We plan on coming back again as we really enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful cabin, view and location

  • 5 of 5

Had a great time with friends and family. Very modern and up to date. Although the fire destroyed nearly everything around us a few years ago the area is still beautiful and the views are amazing. Beds are great, hot tube is also new and very nice. Love the decor, it’s extremely cozy. The wrap around porch is also a very nice feature to enjoy. Appliances and kitchen are nice. Can sleep more than 14 if you had to. The area does have some construction as other homes are being build so if your seeking quietness it’s not quiet as if in the wilderness during daylight times. The roads to the cabin are excellent as well.

Owner's Response: Stephan, Thank you very much for your great and detailed review. You are right the view is still as beautiful as ever and we do have a few new homes being built in the area due to the fires last November. That should slow down soon but glad there aren't any right on top of us so we still have that privacy we want for everyone! We were shut down for 6 mos ourselves doing repairs so that is why most everything in the cabin is new. Glad to have people back and supporting us!! Thank you!! Pam

About Pam Burnup

My wife and I live in Louisville and have three boys. Dana grew up in Houston and graduated from Texas Tech before moving back to Louisville to be with her family. I (Mike) have lived in Louisville my entire life and graduated from the Univ. of Louisville. We both have big extended families in Louisville, lots of cousins, aunts and uncles! Our oldest son goes to Ole Miss and our middle and youngest are in high school.

Our manager Pam Burnup oversees the property for us. She like us vacationed in the Smokies for 20 yrs before moving to Sevierville. Pam takes your reservation for our incredible property as well as oversees the cleaning and maintenance. She strives for total perfection for each and every guest. I am sure you will enjoy working with her.

Pam Burnup purchased this cabin in 2016

Why Pam Burnup chose Gatlinburg

Our family loves to travel and we've been all over but still one or our favorite "long weekend" trips is to the Smokies. The boys have grown up loving it too, we like to hike, ride horses, eat out and especially soak in the views while relaxing in the mountains. We've dreamed of owning our own place in the Smokies and started looking earlier this year (2016), the second we walked in Heaven's Edge we knew we found our dream house. We love our special place in the mountains and plan to rent it but especially excited about vacationing to our own mountain paradise!

What makes this cabin unique

We will never forget the first time we stepped out of the car and on to the deck, the view was absolutely breathtaking. Being surrounded by nothing but nature, seclusion and quiet is what you notice first when arriving. There's no place I'd rather be then on the deck watching the sunset. We love the custom, real log construction, the spacious vaulted ceilings, big open architecture - it's a very comfortable house. The view is to the southwest so sunsets are amazing. Coffee out on the deck in early morning is great, I like that the sun rises a little behind us so you can watch the mountains light up without being blinded. The kids love the huge game room! Dana and I continue to invest and improve Heaven's Edge every month and want every renter to have that special "wow factor" feeling every time they stay - just like we do.

Guestbook comments from the manager

Heavens Edge:

Looking for star gazing, warmth, complete peace and quiet, Heavens Edge is for you. Surrounded by furnished decks to party or sit and reflect while drinking in the Smokey Mountains and all their beauty.

For women, the decor will say to you, "someone really cares and loves to bring added beauty and warmth to this wonderful home".

Children will be busy every minute, inside or out. A child friendly home and surroundings.

Heavens Edge is exactly what this home is all about.
