Great little house
We enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back. Thank you
Great location with a mountainous view. Cozy house but very spacious.
Very accommodating with the check-in and check-out process. When we arrived I felt very welcomed by Melissi. She had a wealth of knowledge about the property and the area. Such a joy to meet and speak with her.
Stayed here 2 nights on our way from FL to PA. House was as described - very cozy. We arrived late at night, and keys were left for us. Great home base location for seeing Luray and surrounding areas. My son loved the water pump out back (he’s never seen one before). Thank you!
Restful & Picturesque
We enjoyed our stay very much.
Great Stay for Wedding Party's Family
Our needs were provided for above expectations. We enjoyed our stay. Thank You
This home is exactly as listed. All the photos posted are just as the place is. We arrived a few minutes early and Melissi was waiting for us to show us around and give us the keys. She is very knowledgeable about the home and the history which we found very interesting. We really enjoyed the porch swing looking at the cows grazing in the field. The home is very comfortable with plenty of seating for everyone. We were there with my daughter and her family and my grandson loved playing with all the toys on the side porch. The only thing that we had a problem with was that a past guest must have smoked in the house and the front living room really smelled like smoke. So much so that I looked up the listing just to make sure it said it was non smoking. I did not let the owners know this as there was nothing that could be done anyway. But for someone who is highly allergic to smoke you might just want to be aware of this. Hopefully as time passes the smell will fade. Other than this we were very pleased with everything about his house.
Thank you for your review. I'm sorry you found the smell unpleasant. You had no way of knowing that we had recently installed new carpet and feel pretty confident that is what you smelled. I understand why you thought what you did because the new carpet scent is not entirely gone. We hope that you will return in the future.
