Three families stayed together for two weeks at this beautiful villa.
The villa is incredibly spacious and peaceful and was a real get away from it all holiday home.
The villa was a joy to be in and we spent many an evening out on the deck playing cards and drinking the local wines. The views are breathtaking and the neighbours few and far between.
The children spent a great deal of time in the pool and it was perfect for them and us.
The property was well maintained, throughout our stay and the owners were great at explaining about the villa and local area when we first arrived.
We all loved exploring the local area and towns, and particularly loved eating out in the local village.
A good point to note is that this villa is along a winding road, on a hillside. We recommend stocking up on everything you need for the evening and settling in at the villa, as the village is a car ride away.
We can't recommend this villa enough, it was beautiful inside and out and we finished our holiday feeling completely relaxed and in love with this part of France.
Accueil/Gestion des propriétaires impeccable.
We spent two fabulous weeks in this house during the summer. The description online was very accurate. Every thing you could possible need was supplied. For the first week we were a group of 4 adults and 5 teenagers. For the second week our grandparents joined us. All of us loved it. The weather was very hot so some days we stayed put and enjoyed the house, pool and the spectacular view. Some evenings we explored the gorgeous villages of La Grande Freinet and Grimauld but mostly we ate at home enjoying the super BBQ supplied. Every other day we spent at one of the many wonderful beaches. St.Tropez was worth a visit as was Nice.
The property was spotless and very well maintained. Eric (property manager) looked after us very well and checked in with us several times going out of his way to answer any queries we had.
The photos do not do the property justice. My background being in art and design I really appreciated the design and furnishings as well as the artwork.
I would recommend this property and would love to return someday.
We spend 2 relaxing weeks in this wunderful house!
The house is well equiped and nicely furnished and decorated.
The pool was a delight for our children and for us aswell:-)
The pool was cleaned regularly and a small problem that had occured with the gasgrill was taken care of within 24 hours.
We would love to come back to enjoy the absolute quiet, the beautiful view and the overall interesting area.
The drive to the beaches 30-45 minutes depending on the time.
We also enjoyed the ping pong table alot aswell as the TV-Room for the children in the evening.

The house was even more beautiful and relaxing than pictured on-line. Upon our arrival, we were welcomed most graciously by the owners, who made arrangements to assure there were no worries with our stay. The view from the deck was spectacular, so relaxing by the pool was one of our favorite things to do. The house and the pool were very clean, the atmosphere was charming, and the service was excellent without disrupting privacy. There was so much to do and see in the village and in town, one vacation was not enough time. We really felt sad to leave and will return again soon.
LaJasoniere was an excellent choice for a stress-free holiday. We would recommend it to anyone planning the perfect get-away!
From the moment you walk into this house all your worries slip away and you just sigh...a beautiful calm comes over you as your gaze slips over the hills and settles on the shimmering sea......Oh I could get used to this life!. What can I say?..... this house is fabulous, the view sublime...it has everything from complete privacy as well as easy access to the perfect village and then the craziness of St Tropez close enough for when you want it but far enough to be in the enveloping peace of the hills in just a few minutes.
Beautifully clean, thoughtfully equipped with all the modern conveniences you could want the house is extra special because of its charming and comfortable decoration and layout...it has the sense of having been there for centuries and the stone walls absorb every sound so that you sleep like a baby and wake worried that you might have missed a whole day or more...but the best of all is the enormous deck overlooking....the world......its a place you may never want to leave..and if you have to ...well you will always wish you could return.
I would highly recommend La Jassoniere and plan to come back as soon as I can
The property is located in the forests of La Garde Freinet in the Massif des Maures. With a southern exposure the Villa and terraces offer panoramic views of rolling hills and forest and sea view of the Bay of St.Tropez. A pleasant country road among the chestnut and cork oak forests brings you to the luxury villa perched on the hillside of the 6 hectare property. The natural setting of Oaks and the “garrigue” carries the aroma and sounds of nature right up to the terraces and paths surrounding the villa. The home of an artist, the house is made of high quality materials and finishings, respecting the regional building traditions and style. The villages of La Garde Freniet (4 kms), Grimaud (8 kms) and Cogolin (10 kms) offer a variety of shopping, restaurants, regional products and local markets to browse, the sea and beaches are just 20 minutes away. St. Tropez and its exciting atmosphere is 25 kms away. The region has many other historical and cultural sites to offer.
