Vicki and Brad Bloxham
Why Vicki and Brad Bloxham chose Waukon
We purchased the property in 2015 as an extension to our existing business which is a restaurant. The building sat vacant for two years after sustaining considerable damage from a flash flood in 2013 and many years of neglect before the flood. We have renovated the building from top to bottom. The main floor is now used as a private dining and meeting room and the second floor is the Guest House.

Comforts of Home
I really enjoyed my stay at Brad and Vicki's place. They made sure that I was well taken care of. I appreciated Vicki's orientation to the place and answering any questions I had. Had a great stay in a very clean place and appreciated the kitchen for light cooking.
We had a great stay here. Perhaps ine of the best VRBO I have ever experienced. She has everything you might need. Lovely, cozy spot. Highly recommend!
We will be back!
This place was just as expected— no surprises. Very comfortable and so convenient. We will definitely use again.
Nice accommodations and very handy for family members in town for a gathering. Previous reviews and description were accurate. Would definitely use the apartment again and recommend to others.
Waukon city club guest house
We loved it -clean, fresh and close to everything we had planned for the weekend. Thank you!
Very nice place
Allamakee County has much to offer. Our primary industry is agriculture followed closely by tourism. With the Mississippi river just a short 15 to 20 minute drive from Waukon to Lansing Iowa, check out the "Driftless Area" Tourist and Information Center which features much history on hunting and fishing along the Mississippi River.
Check out Effigy Mounds National Monument, about a 20 to 25 minute drive southeast from Waukon. The monument provides information on the Native Americans and the Mounds they constructed. There are many hiking trails to view the mounds and the spectacular views of the Mississippi River valley.
Yellow River State Forrest is another great recreational area southeast of Waukon with trails for hiking and horseback riding as well as camping sites, both primitive and campers.
