Modern apartment in historic Lagos Town, western Algarve

This modern one bedroom apartement have two large sunny terraces and swimming pool and garage space indoors. Front patio with garden furniture for 4 people. Rear patio with sitting area, dining area and BBQ. The apartment has one bedroom with air conditioning and a Super King bed that can be split into two single beds. Two bedside tables with lamps and built-in wardrobe with security box. Living room with air conditioning, built in electric heater, two seat sofa and a large chair. Lcd TV with satellite channels and DVD player. The kitchen is equipped with ceramic hob, oven, microwave, refrigerator, freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, kettle, coffee machine 'Dolce Gusto'. The bathroom has bidet and bath with shower and hydro massage. In the hall there is a video entry phone. WiFi is free.

The apartment is within walking distance of the city center, beaches and a number of restaurants and bars. For food shopping there is Lidl and the local Pingo Doce that can be recommended. Both are only approximately 100-150 meters away. Within walking distance there are also two different local markets where it is advantageous to buy fresh fish, seafood and locally produced fruits and vegetables.

Extremely well equipped and comfortable apartment

We knew that the apartment was in a residential area so didn't expect the environment to be pretty. The directions were good and parking was easy. The apartment is very well set up with good quality leather furniture in the living area, a full sized super-king bed with a firm but very comfortable mattress and more than enough bedding, a luxurious bathroom and probably the best equipped kitchen we've ever had in a rental. We were there in February and, although daytime temperatures were in the high 'teens, it dropped to single figures in the evening so we were grateful for the heating options, including an electric fire and a portable convection heater, although we found the air-conditioning system more than adequate. Once we mastered the internet TV system (thanks to Steve from the management team), reception was excellent on the large Sanyo wall tv. If I have a niggle it was the flimsy replacement toilet seat that didn't fit with the otherwise high-spec bathroom with its whirlpool bath and multi-option shower, but it hardly spoiled the stay. With the outside areas and barbecue I can imagine making a lot more use of the alfresco facilities in warmer weather but we were happy in the cosy and very secure inside areas. We both have limited mobility so the ground floor location and lift to the basement garage were welcome. The café over the road serves good breakfast toasties and the nearby Lidl supermarket has all you'd need, including a bakery. We would heartily recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a classy, comfortable base in Lagos.

Very comfortable home away from home

We stayed for 6 nights in early June and it was wonderful to immediately feel at home after a 2 week road trip through Portugal.

The apartment has everything you can possibly need, amazing kitchen with great appliances and every utensil imaginable! Very close to supermarkets/cafes and also an easy walk to the centre of town/beaches. We loved the secure basement parking for our hire car, the aircon/shutters to get out of that sun (necessary sometimes!) and the front and rear patios giving as much shade or sun as you need all day long. The pool is lovely too but it was a little bit chilly due to the time of year.

My South African husband loved the WiFi and satellite tv for catching up on sport and news - and of course the braai (bbq) which we used most nights.

We would definitely stay here again and also recommend the owners as it's been a pleasure to deal with them 😊

Excellently apartment, almost new and very well equipped. Located close to great Italian Restaurant.

A bit of a windy corner and not very private being on the ground floor but lots of outside space and very well maintained. Nice walk in to Lagos Centre and supermarkets round the corner.

All good!

Great apartment in a very good location, within walking distance of old town and a grocery store near by to stop in on your way back. I came by bus, a short 10 minute walk from the bus station. Apartment is quiet (I'm a light sleeper) and the shutters keep it dark for sleeping.

October break in very homely surroundings

This was a lovely well appointed modern apartment situated within easy walking distance of the old town but also close to a few modern local shops and coffee houses. Easy to reach both bus and train station. We appreciated the quality of finish in the apartment and the well stocked kitchen with plenty pots,pans, cutlery and dishes as well as other bits and bobs. It felt like home. The outside areas are spacious and again well equipped. The pool looked inviting but our weather was not great and with the reduced October sun, that'll have to wait for a return visit. Though there is little privacy on the outside patios, we did not feel uncomfortable.

Plenty light in the apartment and easily secured. The bed was large enough though perhaps a little too firm. Such an improvement on other beds we've experienced. Once we got used to the shower it was fine, though we did need a new shower head. Great support from in country manager.

We would definitely come back and have no hesitation in recommending it to others. A hugely enjoyable break. Thanks.

Great apartment!

My husband & I stayed for 2 weeks, the apartment was home from home. It was very spacious & modern. It had everything we could possible need. The balcony was magic, loads of space!

Super king bed was very good quality & comfortable. I am 6 months pregnant so this was important to me.

The apartment is very well located, shops, restaurants all within walking distance.

We will definitely return & recommend this apartment. Lagos is one of our favourite places!

Lagos is one of the oldest and most beautiful cities in the Algarve. The city offers a variety of restaurants, bars and shops and the city center is surrounded by a wall. On both sides of the harbor entrance Lagos is surrounded by beautiful sandy beaches. The long Meia Praia to the east and to the west, the cliffsurrounded Praia de Batata and Praia Dona Anna, etc.

Lagos offers great golf courses, for example Boavista and Palmares, and they are just a few kilometres from town. There are also great opportunities to engage in all possible forms of water sports like surfing, windsurfing, diving, deep sea fishing and much more.
