About Gillian Crawford
Cissy's cottage has been in our family for as long as I can remember. Myself, my husband and two boys (Ross & Harry) live up the lane from Cissy's , The Garden and The Barn and we do all the work and maintenance ourselves. We are at hand all the time to help with anything needed.
Why Gillian Crawford chose Limavady
I travelled the world but cannot think of anywhere I'd rather live than here. We are blessed to be surrounded by green fields with grazing cows and and I never grow tired of the mountain views. We are only 4 miles from golden sandy beaches where I love to walk and the salmon fishing in the local river is great from July to October according to my husband. We are also lucky to be within a short drive of world renowned golf courses.
What makes this Cottage unique
Cissy's cottage is so unique to this part of Ireland as so many thatched cottages have been destroyed here in the north.

What an amazing cottage will book again
Gillian was great from start to finish would highly recommend a stay the cottage is lovely the soundings is something else
Property was tastefully decorated, and lovely to see a thatch up the north coast that you can stay in. Surrounding landscape really is pretty, Binevenagh looks like a geat mountain for hikes. Bed was comfy!
Lovely experience going back in time very cosy and comfortable highly recommend
So easy to book on line everything we needed was there
Beautiful, tranquil spot.
Arrived to the unheard of sound of a gently sleeping cow... perfect stillness under a starlit sky...settled beside a warm log fire... then awoke to the view of Bienevenagh under clear blue sky...it doesn't get much better.
What an absolutely LOVELY and original review!! (I hope you don't mind that I shared it on FB - anon!). Thanks so much and I've just read your email...I hope your ankle is on the mend xx
A well kept local secret....
Great Place to spend a holiday, fantastic scenery, everyone is so friendly!
17th Century Charm with all mod cons
Whole booking process was smooth. A peaceful and beautiful location. Just 2 rooms which oozed character plus a fantastic en-suite (super shower). Very warm welcome by a helpful host. Easy access to sandy beaches, Giant’s Causeway, and Roe Country Park. A very comfortable and relaxing stay.
Thanks so much for taking to time to write this lovely review Dawn. I'm so pleased that you enjoyed your stay with us and we'd love to welcome you back if you are ever in NI again.
