About Camilla Lanza

Rustico Lucia was built around 1300. My family lived there since ever and I, Lucia, was born there. I used to live there until I got married and I moved with my husband in Verona.

Camilla Lanza purchased this house in 2007

Why Camilla Lanza chose Padua

Me and my family we did not want that the house stay empty without anyone living there, knowing how much we care about it, how many nice days and time we have spent there. It is a perfect place for bug families and groups of friends!

So, we decided all together that we will rent the house to people, who want to have a relaxing holidays and also want to know more about the history, the territory and the traditions of this region.

What makes this house unique

Familiar flair and atmosphere, friendly care of the house, garden and guests that could feel really like home! Silence, space, green and nature make the rest! Excellent food & wines are available nearby the house.

Relaxing beautiful get-away

  • 5 of 5

It was exactly what we were looking for. We have three children (16yrs, 13yrs & 10yrs old). This house had lots of room for quality family time as well as their own space. The owners, Lucia & Renzo, greeted us upon arrival and shared all the information we needed to know. The children enjoyed the swimming pool while we relaxed in the beautiful garden. We barbequed and had dinner in the gazebo. An excellent pizzeria is a short walk down the street with delicious gelato too and a grocery store is a convenient 10 minute drive away. It was an easy drive from Verona and a quick train ride into Venice and Padua. We wish we could've stayed longer and look forward to returning one day.

Very nice house and property

  • 5 of 5

Our group of 8 stayed at Rustico Lucia for two weeks in June of 2015. When we arrived, we were warmly greeted by Lucia and her husband Renzo. The house and the property had everything needed for a comfortable and relaxing holiday. The spacious grounds were beautifully landscaped and well cared for by the hosts. There were two outdoor dining areas- a table with sun umbrella by the house and a more spacious and shaded pavilion a little further away. The upper garden terrace had a swimming pool, plus a grassy area for play and sun bathing. The house itself was plenty big and comfortable for our group, although the kitchen was relatively small. The property is located in the rural agricultural area, but in close proximity to several attractive little towns nearby. It also provides a convenient base for making day trips to the further away places. One of our favorite trips was to visit Lake Garda (Town of Sirmione). There is a hiking trail that goes up the mountain behind the property and makes for a nice early morning walk to get the views of the surrounding area. Overall, we had a nice stay at Rustico Lucia and would recommend the place to our friends without any hesitation.

wir haben uns überaus wohlgefühlt

  • 5 of 5

Absolutely amazing - beyond expectation

  • 5 of 5

Villa Rustico Lucia exceeded our expectations. We can gladly recommend it and would be happy to stay there again if the opportunity comes.

During our quite intense 4 days stay we did a walking tour in Venice (reachable by train), did a wine testing and wine production tours in 3 wineries around (5-20 mins from Rustico), visited Ferrari museum, spent an evening in Padova and enjoyed local pasta and ice cream at the restaurant 100m from the Villa. We wish we had many more days to explore the area and enjoy all the facilities available in the Villa (i.e. barbecue, etc)

The owners Lucia, Renzo and their daughter Camilla were very friendly, welcoming and very caring in little details and we felt like at home from the moment we drove in.

We can only reconfirm and agree with all the previous positive reviews!

Thank you very much Lucia, Renzo and Camilla!

Arquà Petrarca is a small village, which preserve the unchanged glamour of medieval time and it is considered the pearl of the Euganean Hills. Arquà has been inhabited since the Roman times, and gained more importance when Francesco Petrarca, one of the highest poet of the Italian tongue, wished to spend the last years of his life in the serene quietness of the place. Wine and eat lovers won’t be disappointed: the zone is full of restaurants and Agriturismos, which offer to all visitors, wine, olive’s oil (one of the better of Italy) producted by themselves. Near the house you will find two wine cellars 'Loreggian' and 'Borin' where is possible to taste and buy wine and typical products. Few kilometers far, there are the thermal towns like Abano, Montegrotto Terme, Battaglia and Galzignano where to get massages and thermal bath, well-known all over the world.
