4 Bedroom, 4 Bathroom Villa With Pool And Magnificent Views

Built in 2006 this beautiful 4 bedroom, 4 bathroom villa is our family holiday home. Its prime location on the ridge takes advantage of the magnificent uninterrupted views out to Sea whilst still being close enough to be within walking distance of the local beach and facilities. The stunning views are beautiful by day and in the evening the outside areas are fabulous for al fresco dining/BBQ or simply sit under the stars with a glass of wine and watch the cruise ships sail off into the distance. Our villa combines the luxury of Barbados with the comforts of home! A huge wooden deck leads from the house to the pool with gardens to all sides. The lounge area is split level with comfy sofas, armchairs and reading sofa. The entrance to the house has its own covered verandah for escaping the sun. The villa has TV, DVD and a large stock of music and films plus games and a small library. WIFI is available throughout the property and out on the deck/ pool area. Local telephone calls are free.

Having spent several months a year in Barbados over the last decade I have acquired great knowledge (and contacts) on the Island. Indeed I have written several features for UK magazines (e.g. Rare, Place in the Sun) about the attractions on the Island. I can arrange almost anything for our guests from a complete holiday itinerary, car hire, restaurant reservations, boat trips to taxis and florists! We want you to enjoy our home and this beautiful Island as much as we do!

Whilst a car is not essential it is recommended if you wish to take advantage of what Barbados has to offer and the villa has 2 private parking spaces.

Our housekeeper Sylvia is a wonderful local lady with a vast array of knowledge and information and included in the rental rates she will visit twice weekly to clean the house, change the beds/towels and generally just ensure you have everything you need to enjoy your stay. Guests who require the housekeeper on a more frequent basis will pay her direct for additional days.

Our gardener and pool man attend weekly.

Dining out and lazing on the beach are a great way to enjoy Barbados but dining out on your own verandah and lying by your own pool whilst soaking in our fantastic view are the best way to enjoy Barbados. Thats what No1 is ... not a holiday let but your own home for the duration of your stay. Careful planning and communication with my guests means the holiday is tailored to their specific needs whether I am booking the best waterside table at the Cliff for a honeymoon couple, arranging baby equipment for families or that special private catamaran cruise for a 60th birthday celebration. I want for my guests what I want myself - a relaxing enjoyable vacation which will create memories that last a lifetime.

It doesn't get much better than this...

We have just returned from a glorious stay at this Villa and I cannot recommend the property anymore if I tried. It is such a beautiful house in a fantastic location in paradise.

The house was very clean and looked after by the lovely Sylvia (the housekeeper) during our stay. There really was every little essential and then a lot of luxuries available to use in the house, inflatables for the pool, lots of card and board games for evenings entertainment, books and DVD's, a super blender for mixing up my favourite Pina Colada's and then towels, beach towels, cool bags, hair dryers & straighteners...the list is literally endless.

The house is large and spacious, the air conditioning throughout was a real relief from the tropical heat and the pool was really fabulous.

The house is a real family favourite and my Parents and Sister (and her family) have both been before and return time and time again. It was our first trip and I hope we can return again soon.

Thank you Barbara for allowing us to experience the beautiful island of Barbados from your fabulous house. 100% recommended x

Fantastic Villa

We had a super holiday staying in this lovely villa.

We took our 2 elderly mothers with us, they were very comfortable in their bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms

The pool is a great place to keep cool while taking in the magnificent views

Barbara was most helpful organising our rental car and anything to make our stay wonderful

Can't wait to go back!!

Simply amazing

Me and my family spent two weeks (end of April/beginning of May 2015) in this absolutely stunning villa. Although this review is very delayed (sorry Barbara!), I really would like to share some words about this magnificent house.

Our stay was... fantastic!!! The house is truly amazing and the standard is very high. Our whole family was truly impressed by the house and everything it had to offer. The view was amazing, the rooms where wonderful and the location could not be any better. Only 10 minutes walk to the beach (perhaps 15 minutes back to the house though, due to the quite steep uphill road to the house :) Also, the housekeeper Sylvia was extremely helpful and sweet. I truly have no complaints what so ever.

Just Amazing !!

Set in a lovley area the views are amazing just a 10 min walk to the beach had everything we needed for a perfect holiday.

The most amazing honeymoon in this gorgeous home!!

Well....where do I begin, before we even got there, Barbara (the owner) had helped me out with SO many requests!! And for that I cannot thank her enough, Barbara seems to know everyone and everything in relation to Barbados, and as it was Christmas/NYE season, she recommended we book a few restaurants and trips up, which she helped me with, including managing to get us NYE tickets to the very very popular Lonestar...we had an amazing time...so again BIG thank you. Also a huge thank you to Sylvia the housekeeper, who cooked us a wonderful bajan feast for our first night there...xx

Anyway back to the property...we arrived about 5pm...just in time for sunset, and what an amazing sunset it was, the views from this house are outstanding! Every single night I was amazed...even when it was cloudy it was stunning.

The house is gorgeously furnished, every single room is lovely...but the main bedroom had to be favourite, with it's private balcony, again...looking out to unbelievable views!

Me and my new husband honestly had the best time here....the beach is literally just down the road, and we did visit there on occasion (JuJu's bar was always busy and the little boutique shop on the beach was my fav)....but we preferred to stay by the pool the majority of the time, playing a spot of rummy on the deck, or reading one of the many books they have on the bookcase and drinking Banks beers in the sun.

The location of this house is wonderful, we rented a car and we got to see so much of the island, but it really isn't necessary...you can get a bus to Holetown or Mullins Bay in the other direction. There's so much to do we never got bored!! Limegrove mall have a fabulous cinema on rainy days!!

Anyway... I just want to say a huge thank you again to Barbara for this amazing experience and I cannot wait to book up again for our 1 year anniversary...maybe with friends this time to show them how great it is!!

Fulfilled every expectation and more!

Having looked at the photographs so many times before our arrival we felt immediately "at home" in this beautiful house. Having been to Barbados many times staying at hotels this was our first foray into self catering. We were travelling with our daughter, son in law and two granddaughters aged 3 and 4 and decided that this was the best option for our family.

Well it was just perfect. Sylvia was there to welcome us and proved to be an invaluable friend on the island who was always happy to help with our queries and kept the house beautiful.

The furnishings, towels and bed linens are all top quality and I can honestly say we wanted for nothing, every need was provided for. The beds were extremely comfortable, the house so well equipped . The large decking area and the pool were ideal for the children and we just has so much fun. The shady terrace was wonderful if it got too hot and ideal for our family meals.

Barbara had prebooked us a 7 Seater suzuki "van" which we couldn't have done without, both to introduce our family to the island and going for supplies to the local supermarket.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend both Barbara and her lovely house to everyone and hope you enjoy your stay as much as we did.

(No better place on earth to enjoy a cocktail while watching the sunset. 1 Storehouse Gap is situated 8 mile from the capital city of Bridgetown, 2 mile from Speightstown and a mile from the nearest shopping centre in Holetown - home to a vast array of restaurants and bars including the LimeGrove lifestyle centre with its famous brand shopping, bars, cafes and cinemas. Supermarkets and a 24hour medical Centre are also located in historic Holetown. World famous restaurants such as those at Sandy Lane,Tides, The Cliff, Cin Cin, Daphnes and Scarlet are all within a fifteen minute drive from the house.
