The Snug is a charming studio cottage set in the Owners grounds yet extremely private. The open plan cottage has a two comfortable lounge chairs and a double bed in the main area with a television and WIFI available for entertainment. The kitchen and dining area is set to the side and has facilities including an oven, hob, fridge/ freezer and microwave as well as a dining table for three. Outside there is also a useful utility room separate to the cottage with shared washing facilities, iron and board and a sink. The ground floor bathroom has a corner shower, WC and basin.
There is a mezzanine area accessed by a wooden spiral staircase which has a child's single bed and seating area. In the front of The Snug is a patio with a outside furniture available in the summer months and there is also shared access to a large grass area. There is parking available within the gated driveway.
Wisborough Green and beyond
The Snug is located just a few minutes from the village of Wisborough Green which is on the edges of the South Downs National park. Beautiful landscapes, walks and countryside activities are on your doorstep. Wisborough Green is a typical English village with a large village green where many events are held throughout the year including vintage car rallies, fetes and local cricket matches. There are two public houses on the green which are in a perfect spot to enjoy a cold drink and watch the many summer activities on the green.
Multi award winning Fishers Adventure Farm Park which offers all year round entertainment for families is nearby. A unique mixture of things to do with younger children, Fishers Adventure Farm Park offers indoor and outdoor play, exciting rides and animal adventures for the whole family to enjoy.
For keen walkers, there are options at the Pulborough Brooks. There are many excellent walks across the Brooks and along the banks of the River Arun offering uninterrupted views south towards the South Downs. Part of the Brooks contains one of the RSPB’s major reserves in the south and is just eight miles from Milestone Studio.
Just 6 miles away is the beautiful town of Petworth, an historic market town which is best known as the location of the stately home Petworth House and deer park which was landscaped by Capability Brown. The house and its grounds are now owned and maintained by the National Trust. The magnificent country house contains an internationally renowned art collection with numerous works by Turner. The town is full of quaint houses and cottages, many within their own courtyard settings. They are interspersed with antique shops and tea rooms so it makes the ideal place for a stroll following your enjoyment of Petworth House and Park.
