I am a teacher with relatives in the area and a vacation home a few hours away. This makes it easy for me and my three children to make our house available to others who want to enjoy all that there is to do in the area. We do live in the house when it is not rented; this is not just a rental property.
Jay purchased this House in 2005
Why Jay chose Williamstown
I built the house in 2005 on a piece of property adjacent to the house I grew up in. It is a beautiful, quiet spot, yet just minutes from the center of town. The views are stunning!
What makes this House unique
Enjoy the horses without having to take care of them! Quiet, peaceful setting with easy access to all that the Berkshires and Southern Vermont has to offer!

Beautiful home, great location
We stayed here with my extended family. There was plenty of space for all of us. The location is close to both Mass MOCA and Jimney Peak. My favorite part was having my morning coffee and watching the horses play outside the big window.
Glad it worked out well. I wish there had been snow, but I can't control the weather! I've lived here for almost 15 years and still enjoy the view myself.
Fantastic house in a beautiful location!
A group of us - three couples, each with one baby - stayed in this house, and it was perfect! Tons of room for everyone, and a great location. The kids loved it. Would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone looking for a spot to stay in in the Berkshires!
welcoming house close to Jiminy Peak
We had great time staying at Jay’s house and skiing at Jiminy Peak. The view from the family room to the field, mountain hills and a picturesque church was amazing. Kids loved seeing the horse, Mister, and later going up to the dairy farm. Beds were comfortable, house warm, spacious and cozy. Thank you for the coffee and hospitality!
Perfect rural retreat
Loved this. Loved the house, loved the property, loved the horses. Loved watching my kids and the children of our friends play together up-and-down this enormous house and all over the woods and fields, loved the easy access to skiing, loved the time away. Jay, the owner, made it super easy for us on short notice. Highly recommend. Thanks Jay!
Huge, comfortable house, gorgeous view
We had three families spending the weekend in the area to visit friends over Columbus Day weekend. This house was perfect for our group of 6 adults and 5 kids. The house was huge, clean, comfortable, and there were so many little touches to make us welcome - fresh flowers, travel toiletries, and even a cake and a bottle of wine! There are gorgeous views from the house, and all the kids enjoyed walking down to make friends with the horses. Jay was great to communicate with, and it could not have been better. Thank you for sharing your home with us!
Large, airy, comfortable home with plenty of space to relax in a lovely setting.
We really enjoyed our stay at this property. For the first weekend we had 12 people and we were all comfortable, and not crowded. The house is large and open. We immediately felt comfortable and at home.
The hosts were gracious and welcomed us with a cheese and meat tray, organic juice, milk and creamer in the refrigerator, as well as a generous selection of coffee for the Keurig.
We travel to this area every year in September, and will definitely check availability of this house first, when we plan next year's stay.
