Fully equipped kitchen including both washing machine and dish washer, large screen TV . Large extendable dining table seats six comfortably. Double doors to sun terrace area with coffee table, the apartment enjoys a south facing aspect and gets sunshine throughout the day.Sao Martinho is a great location to spend your holidays all year round, the area is still very much unspoilt and traditional, and you could be one of the select few to discover the hidden natural beauty and charm of the real Portugal only a few minutes from one of Portugal's top beaches and a short drive from the real heritage and history of this still undiscovered haven

The apartment is only 7 minutes walk to the one of Portugal's top beaches. The Sao Martinho do Porto beach is a beautiful, sandy shell shaped beach, protected from the Atlantic. It's ideal for jogging, sun bathing or fishing, you will see many locals fishing at the left hand side of the the bay. Lifeguards operate on the beach, and a children’s playground is located at the end of the promenade. There are lots of cafes and restaurants along the promenade and the dock area. There is a new ascensor type lift form the Tourist Information Office in the square for those that would prefer a lift up to near where the apartments are rather that walk after a day on the beach or as a quick short cut down to the seafront.

Golf is just a short drive away at these clubs: Praia D’el Rey - 15km. Vimeiro Golf Course -12km.

Peniche Golf courses -30km.

Getting to Baia III is simple and convenient. The town is situated 100km north of Lisbon and its international airport and is easily reached from there via the new A8 motorway - about a 50 minute drive. There are flights from all international airports including London Luton, Gatwick, Liverpool, Bristol, Dublin, Cork, Frankfurt, Paris Charles de Gaulle. A hire car is recommended but you can also travel by coach from Lisbon's main bus station (1 hr 15 mins).

‘’Beautifully apportioned and furnished contemporary two bedroom, two bathroom apartment, which made our whole stay just fantastic! All mod cons provided, and UK TV was a real bonus. The owners are really helpful and nothing was too much trouble. We were a little cold in November, but a another heater arrived within hours. The place was beautifully prepared for our arrival, and spotlessly clean. A large supermarket is only a few minute’s walk away, and the lovely seafront with its array of restaurants and small shops is only a ten to fifteen minute walk away. The fish and seafood, both in the supermarket and the restaurants, is to die for, and so cheap too! If you get chance, visit Nazare, which whilst not as pretty as Sao Martinho de Porto, is a bit bigger and has a great choice of restaurants, particularly in the tiny cobbled backstreets. We found a fantastic little place, which was like eating in someone's front room - just wish we could remember the name!’’

Fatima is a town located 142 km (88 miles) North of Lisbon. Fatima is one of the most important catholic shrines in the world dedicated to the Virgin Mary. Fatima's Sanctuary welcomes millions of pilgrims and tourists from all over the world. Fatima's fame is due to the Apparitions of Our Lady of the Rosary that appeared to three shepherd children; Lucia dos Santos and her two younger cousins, Francisco and Jacinta. Between May and October of 1917, the three children witnessed several apparitions. The last one, on October 13th, was confirmed by a miracle witnessed by 60,000 people known in the catholic world as 'the day the sun danced'

Very good, well placed apartment

This is a very well equipped apartment. Everything is there that one could need. It is ideally placed for walking to the beach, the restaurants, and the Intermarche supermarket. The fresh food market nearby is great for fish, and fruit and vegetables, and the people running the stalls are very friendly and helpful.

Lovely apartment, brilliantly situated

My partner and I loved the apartment, it was clean, tidy and had all the amenities we required. The welcome pack was generous and helped us start our holiday relaxed and looked after. The apartment is only a short walk from the beach and in a wonderful small town which although clearly set up for tourism is pleasantly quiet. The location is ideal for day trips out across Portugal. We really enjoyed our stay and can't wait to go back.

Beautifully maintained & well located apartment

We had a fantastic stay at this lovely apartment. It is very well equipped and close to the beach and bay of Sao Martinho. If you hire a car you can visit a number of local villages. In particular we loved Obidos (make sure you try some Ginja!) and Batalha. The owner was very helpful and gave us a lot of ideas of things to do and places to visit. Overall it was a wonderful holiday.. Thank you!

Fantastic apartment, close to the beach.

The apartment was furnished to a very high standard, clean and well maintained in a quiet complex. The pool area had the sun all day and as a bonus, the balcony of the apartment had the sun in the afternoon and evening making it a nice place to relax after a days sight seeing.

It took just minutes to walk down to the seafront. There were plenty of nice restaurants and cafés to choose from on the days we decided not to cook our own food. Self catering was made easy by the local market and shops a few minutes walk away, and Intermarché close by. The apartment had all the appliances and utensils to cook a proper meal, and a bonus of the use of a dishwasher so no washing up!

Nearby places we visited were Alcobaça, Batalha, Óbidos and Fàtima, all a short drive away and worth a visit.

I would definitely recommend this lovely apartment for a relaxing getaway.

Stunning apartment, beautifully situated

The apartment is furnished with everything you could need and more, even including an iron. With air con in every room and a really nice sound system throughout. A balcony which looks over the pool and gets the sun all through the afternoon and evening to make for a brilliant place to spend time. Only a few minutes walk from any shops you may need and a down to the bay which has a gorgeous golden sandy beach. Some really nice bars and restaurants along the seafront and friendly locals.

Sun, sand, sea and brilliant accommodation what more could you want?
