I was a project manager in the construction industry and was especially involved in restoration of historic buildings and in regeneration programmes. I moved to this conservation area because I loved the mix of historic environment and areas of the the natural heritage.

Clean and good location
This is a great location when visiting Glasgow. Especially, if you want to have amenities close by and want a relatively quiet location. Eleanor is wonderful to work with along the way. She is very responsive and is a delight. We were on our way out of Scotland on this single night stay. We were staying at Brunson Castle area, which is 45 minutes away from Glasgow on the western coast. This location made it possible to come in closer to the Glasgow airport for our early departure on Saturday. I would highly recommend this location, if you want a quaint and wonderful location, as well as a fantastic manager/owner/operator of this location in Eleanor. She is great. Single night stays are possible. We would stay again, should we come to Scotland in the future........without hesitation.
Clean and comfortable home from home
Eleanor is a great host who goes the extra mile . The flat is very roomy and the facilities just what you need with oven microwave fridge etc and even a washing machine ( powder provided) The beds were lovely and comfortable and everywhere was very clean and tidy .It did feel like home from home with touches like the fairy lights in the kitchen and extra heaters if needed . The long drive made it feel very private and the parking by the front door very convenient . Thank you for a seamless handover as well on our arrival . We chose this flat as we were at the exhibition centre for a trade show and with its two bedrooms and plenty of space it was perfect for our needs

Glasgow's main museums: Kelvingrove, the Transport Museum, the Hunterian as well as major leisure facilities at Scotstoun and Kelvinhall are all within 5-15minutes away. The west end cafes, bars and restaurants are 10 minutes away and the city centre is accessible by car, taxi and bus in 15 minutes. The SECC and Hydro venues are 10 minutes away as are theatres and cinemas.
We are on the cycle path to the Forth and Clyde Canal and to Loch Lomond which is only 20 minutes away and we are immediately adjacent to Victoria Park - one of Glasgow's finest!
