I just wanted to tell you what an incredible time we had saying in your flat. It was perfect for our family and was incredibly convenient to everything!
An absolutely wonderful trip and your flat made it easy and relaxing. Thank you. Until next time.....
We really enjoyed our stay here. We found it was very easy to find transportation throughout San Francisco and this place was very convenient to walk to many restaurants and bus stops to get wherever we needed to go. Although parking in front says it is for Permit passes beyond 2 hours, my brother was able to park there without any problems Friday - Wednesday.
We were able to sleep 5 comfortably on the bed, futon, and couch. There were plenty of towels, sheets, & blankets and the kitchen table was great for us to play card games and board games. The kitchen had plenty of dishes and pans for us to make meals when we had leftovers or didn't want to go out for a meal.
The place was very clean and well-maintaned. The owner was very helpful in answering our questions about parking and there are a lot of brochures available to help us find activities nearby.
My family had a wonderful stay and this place made our first experience with VRBO a very pleasant experience.
I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to see the sights of San Francisco. It's within walking distance to the Golden Gate Bridge, Ghiradelli Square, movie theatres, sports gym, and lots of restaurants and shops. Only a short bus ride to the cable cars. So much to see in San Francisco, but I would recommend getting the book, "Top 25 Things to See & Do in San Francisco". There are so many things to do, that I can't just recommend a few here. We had a blast exploring the city!!!
Note: If you live in a city, you will love this place. If you are a country dweller, you may want to bring ear plugs to drown out the street traffic at night. It's not that bad, but may bother you if you aren't used to it.
My husband and I and our two kids stayed for a weekend while exploring SF. The apartment has literally everything you could ever need. Super location, though it's on a main thoroughfare and I was worried the kids wouldn't sleep so well in the front of the apartment - I was wrong. Had no difficulty with parking and this was on a Fleet Week weekend during the SF Airshow. Bus stops for a few different routes were easy to walk to and we walked to some great restaurants - highly recommend the Tipsy Pig, and there's a super coffee shop just a few blocks away. We would definitely stay here again.
This was a great little apartment to stay in. It was convenient to get around San Francisco and everything we needed was there.. iron, hairdryer,salt/pepper etc. All the things that make life easier when one is travelling. We had trouble with the internet, but after contacting the owner all was fixed. Not a luxury property, and a little noisy ( people upstairs and traffic), but nothing that was too bothersome.
We stayed here for our wedding weekend. Apartment was clean and just as described. Great location. Owner provided a lot of great amenities (thanks for the iron and the blow dryer!). Very close to dining, shopping, and entertainment options. Owners were easy to reach and very attentive of property.
The apartment was clean and had all the necessities- fully stocked kitchen, clean white linens with back-ups, iron (and starch spray), blow dryer etc. Washer and dryer was terrific, although the dryer took a long time to dry the towels. They left detergent and dryer sheets which we thought was a very nice touch.
It was easy to access with private entrance to first floor apartment. It is on Richardson Street, which is Lombard Street (a main artery in SF). Traffic is very loud! If you are in the bedroom it is much quieter, but if you’re sleeping out front it was hard to drown out the noise even with ear plugs. It is definitely dated and lacks charm. The front rug needs to be replaced as there were stains all over it. The beautiful t.v. only had one channel that worked.
It is located in an awesome part of SF and walking distance to so many great areas. Take advantage of your surroundings, because you probably won’t want to spend much time in the apartment.
It took me awhile to get this review on here but better late then never. The pictures that are displayed are very accurate. It is a one bedroom but is very open which def provides enough room. Four of us were very comfortable. We had plenty of room to spread out. There is a futon and a pull out couch for whomever isn't sleeping in the bed. There are some comments about the traffic noise and the people living upstairs. I slept in the bedroom and yes I could hear them walking around but wasn't that big of a deal to us as we were up early and didn't spend all day inside we were out exploring the city. The street is very close to the living room so yes traffic could be heard, but again we were out exploring so wasn't that much of a concern and at night there wasn't that much traffic on the roads so didn't bother us. The washer/dryer was a big help and they provided laundry detergent! The place was nice and clean. (some tiles in the shower were loose but no biggie) Plenty of access to public transportation as well as walking distance to everything. Plenty of great restaurants and stores in walking distance and also no shortage of cabs. The location on the map is spot on. It really is in a fabulous location with easy access to everywhere you'd want to go. We didn't rent a car but if we had don't think that parking would have been an issue. There were spots in front of the apartment as well as along the street. We just felt we didn't need the car with all the public transportation coupled with the location of the apartment. The owners were great and I had no problem getting in touch with them before, throughout, and even after the trip, if anything was needed. We even accidentally left behind something and they had no problem mailing it to us. (Of course we paid for the mailing) The overall experience was great and I would def stay here again and also recommend this property to friends/family going to visit. Can't wait to visit again! We will def be staying here again!
