Two bedroom house one block from Hyde Park Square, lots of restaurants and shops
Why Rick chose Hyde Park
This is the perfect spot for exploring Cincinnati - the city of seven hills. Hyde Park has a wonderful walking area full of shops, gardens, and restaurants. It's also close to Rookwood Commons, Eden Park, Downtown, Oakley and Mount Adams. Be sure to try the black raspberry choc chip ice cream at Graeter's. Concerts at Riverfront, ball games, historic Arnold's restaurant, the Freedom Center, amazing Union Terminal (includes a children's museum) are a short drive downtown. A one hour drive brings you to the antique shops of historic Lebanon, Ohio with the famous Golden Lamb Inn and Restaurant, King's Island, or the old rivertown of Augusta on the Ohio River in Kentucky (Leave your car on the Ohio side and go over on the ferry - a great small walking town). Try swimming and take a picnic to Coney Island or watch the horses at Belterra Park. For kids, check out the museums at the Cincinnati Union Terminal and the well known Cincinnati Zoo. Also Kings Island and vintage Coney Island with large pool. Kayak on the Little Miami River and visit the Indian Mounds and Amish bakeries north of Cincinnati. Taft museum is a must for history and decorating fans. Favorite local pub/restaurants Arnold's downtown and Zip's for burgers a short drive away.

Great location with everything you need
We stayed at this property for four nights in September. Pre-arrival communication with the owner was excellent. We arrived about 9 PM at night but had absolutely no problem finding parking or getting into the house. The house is one block from Hyde Park Square which we walked to for dinner one evening. There are also several stores down there as well as the great wine bar and bakery. The house itself is well appointed and had everything we needed including plenty of towels and also laundry detergent which we used to wash our clothes before we headed home. I will 100% stay here again when I am back in the Cincinnati area. It was very convenient to everything for us.
We had a great short stay at the property. In town for a wedding with the ring bearer so needed some extra space to spread out, rather then a hotel room. Property extremely clean and beds were very comfortable. Location is in a very nice walkable area to a cute downtown area. Would definitely recommend if looking for a quieter stay with simple access to the city.
Great location and beautiful house!
Loved everything about this home! We were in Cincy to do the children’s museum one day and the zoo the other. This house was a perfect location for both of those. We liked the restaurant choices that were close by.
We have stayed at so many rentals that don’t even have salt and pepper in the kitchen. This house had so much to offer and really set this house above any other house we have stayed in before. There were even toiletries in the bathroom.
House was clean, quiet and beds were comfy.
Perfect paradise at Hyde Park ‘Dutch’
Rick sets the ultimate standard as host. Down to every detail. The house was immaculate, very well equipped with best quality linens, beds, appliances and furnishings, maps and suggestions . The outdoor terrace and garden was also lovely. We were welcomed and loved the Cinci experience. Thank you.
Perfect visit home
What an easy rental. Nice programmable lock so no need to meet up with a property manager. Impeccably clean home in a fantastic location. Beds were comfortable and the A/C worked well. The host, Rick was easy to reach via text and was kind enough to leave a few things for me upon a late arrival. All of the small details have been thought of down to the laundry detergent. Thanks so much!
Perfect, cute and charming home in vibrant Hyde Park area. Walkable to shops and restaurants. Quiet and convenient location. House is super with outside shaded patio and front porch. We would love to stay here again when coming to town. Owner very friendly and responsive. House had everything we needed to make stay fir son's wedding comfortable.
A one block walk to Hyde Park Square, with its many one-of-a-kind shops, restaurants, Graeter's ice cream, coffee shops and special events. A short walk in the other direction is Busken Bakery, as well as Rookwood Commons, with many fine stores and restaurants in an open-air setting.
