The 18th Century High Ridge Farm and Barn are built of local pink stone and sit in the beautiful Swythamley wooded valley in the Peak District National Park surrounded by glorious countryside. High Ridge Barn is architect designed and refurbished throughout to provide modern and luxurious self-catering accommodation.
Having just finished 2 years of extensive renovations and landscaping this summer (2018), we are now pleased to be able to open the Barn to guests for the first time.
The double-height barn has 4 new double bedrooms sleeping up to 8 people with new solid oak doors and floors, 3 contemporary bathrooms, a log burner surrounded by super-comfy Loaf velvet sofas, and has its own private half-acre gated gardens and parking. Guests can enjoy using the large wood fired sauna, BBQ, secure bike storage, and a dog grooming chalet with all the latest mod cons including professional walk-in hydraulic lift dog bath, hot shower and pet hairdryer... your pets are very welcome!
Our location is very rural and quiet and only a walk from the impressive Roaches and the lovely Dane Valley which are on our doorstep. Macclesfield, Leek and Buxton are a short drive away. A large network of walking and cycling routes is easily accessible from High Ridge. There are many local attractions including the renowned Wincle Brewery and some great pubs and restaurants.
