We had a great stay at Beth's apartment. It was warm and welcoming and the location is great! Beth even left some muffins for us when we arrived. We will be back!
Our visit to Western Mass proved to be an amazing trip! Visiting from West Florida, the October foliage in this area was like none we had ever experienced. Shelburne Falls is a charming community and this VRBO proved to be a wonderful decision and a good find! Located within walking distance to Shelburne Falls galleries, shops and restaurants, the property was just like new, extremely clean and spacious. Beth was quick to answer questions, provide wonderful advice on area restaurants and even made our first morning delightful by providing coffee, juice, milk and pumpkin muffins. Not only is the location great in Shelburne Falls it is an easy and beautiful drive to other areas such as historic Deerfield, Amherst, Northampton, North Adams and southern Vermont. We did lots of exploring and were always happy to "come home" at the end of the day. If you are looking for a place in this area, this one is indeed a gem! We would certainly come back.
Had a nice stay at this property. Very clean and comfortable. Beth was very accomodating for us and our dog, and even left some treats for him to enjoy! Highly recommend this apartment
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Beth's apartment. It was furnished beautifully and the kitchen was fantastic! The towels were plump and fluffy and the bed comfortable. Beth was a wonderful host - she left us food for a light breakfast, snacks, and coffee/tea; and was easy to reach when we had questions. For biking or skiing at Thunder Mountain/Berkshire East, this was a great location at only 10 minutes away. We would definitely stay here again - thanks Beth!
We stayed in this comfortable, immaculate apartment for two nights. We were here on personal business, and wished we could have stayed longer. The apartment was easy to find, slightly off the main road in charming, picturesque Shelburne Falls. The open living area is spacious, everything is upgraded, and the entire place was spotless. It feels private, though the interior is light and airy; the windows look out on a woodsy area. The bed was comfortable, and the shower had excellent water pressure. It had everything we needed. The sofas are spacious and also comfortable enough to sleep on.
The host, Beth, was responsive and went out of her way to accommodate us.
A word about the destination: if you are looking for a unique New England experience, this might be the place for you. Shelburne Falls/Buckland is beautiful, with historic buildings, quaint shops, and endless views of the river with its bridges, the glacial potholes, and of course, the Bridge of Flowers.
If you’re a book collector or ephemera dealer, Shelburne Falls Booksellers is for you. A mind-boggling collection of vintage and historic books, periodicals, postcards, and on and on. Nearby are historic churches, a sugar house, and the Berkshire East Resort, that has year-round outdoor activities.
Everything is within easy walking distance, too. We would definitely stay here again.
Besides being a nice place, right in town, the owner is great... good at communicating and working out problems. My husband thought it was the best place we had stayed recently.
