Why Gil Copeland chose Holiday Isle

I chose to own a rental property in this area due to the fact that my whole family owns property here and it is centrally located for anything I can imagine. It is directly on the beach and in a gated community with several pools, tennis courts, golf course and restaurants.

One of the best beach settings that I have ever step away!!!

The furniture was brand new and the electronics was the top of the line. You can check your email from the 55" tv. Nobody had to argue over the recliners, because there are three!!!! You can watch Netflix through the smart tv. High Def, 3D, smart TV! Yeah! The owners were very accommodating, we had to move our stay and they made sure that we were taking care of. My hats off to Gil and Deb!

Loved being at the beach and location is excellent!

There is a wonderful view of the ocean from this beachfront condo. We had a wonderful and relaxing time. I did not understand why other people were allowed to enter the condo's they were renting at 3:30pm and we were not allowed in until 4pm. The condo could also use a remodel. It is stuck in the 70's, especially the bathroom! The shower is small and the large jacuzzi tub is so old and crazing on the bottom that I would not feel comfortable using it. The owners are very nice but if we did not have our precious dog we would rent a different unit that is in better condition.

Absolutely Loved It!

I would like to thank Mr. & Mrs. Copeland for allowing me and my hubby to stay in your most beautiful condo. We stayed June 17, 2017 to June 24, 2017. It was perfect and beautifying; I absolutely love ir. The location was amazing as well. We had everything we needed and it was the best condo ever!! I highly recommend it and I will be coming back and stay here; Only!! The people are amaxinv and the food is delicious no matter where you go eat. Love everything about this. Destin Fl.

it looks like it hasn't been updated since he 1980's. Not well kept at all.

We had problems from the moment we arrived. The door code we were given did not work so we contacted the emergency contact number and the person we spoke to was very rude . We did not get to the condo until midnight but the owner was aware we would not be there until then. Apparently there was some miscommunication on their end. WE were told by the contact that he did not appreciate us calling him at midnight and he would be sure to come knocking on our door at 6:00 the next morning to wake us up. Then the next day when we tried to take a shower,the shower hose was busted and we had to go to lowe's and replace and fix it. We did not want to call the emergency contact again. Then if that was not bad enough, the following day our toilet stopped up and I ended up contacting the owner concerning the toilet and he wanted usto fix that too. Even after knowing all the trouble we had been through he was being unreasonable. He even told my husband that if we did not like the condo we could leave. Of course what could we do at that point because there was no where else to go and he made it clear he was not going to refund any of our money. Some one did come out to attempt to fix the toilet the next day. It did not stop up again but it still was not flushing the way it should and we could not flush any toilet paper so we had to put it in a garbagebag and take it out to the dumpster. I have pictures of the mold in the shower and around the air vents as well as peeling paint . The deck is leaning and the wood at the top of the steps is rotten and feels like it could fall through any time. I also cut my foot on a nail that was rusted and the top of the nail had rusted away so it was like an exposed nail. Fortunately it was not a bad cut but if a child steps on it , it could be a big problem. The only good thing I can say about the place is that it was on the beach. We tried to contact home away after our first day there because we were not getting any where with the owner at that time but home away did not respond. We will NOT be staying at this place again and unfortunately we will probably not use Home Away again because we did not get a response.

Perfect for us!

This property was perfect for us! We did not want to be in a high rise and we wanted easy access to the beach. We sat on the deck and enjoyed beautiful views morning til evening, and even got to see a school of dolphins go by! An easy walk over a sand dune and you're right on the beach! Some of the decor is a bit dated but easily overlooked. After all, most of our time was spent outside. We will definitely consider a return visit.
