This luxurious 2 bedroom Penthouse Apartment is situated in Phase 1 of Roda Golf & Beach Resort - perfect for families & golfers. Close to the airport at Murcia San Javier, (which is very well served by the budget airlines from almost all of the UK), you can be in the apartment within 10 minutes of leaving the airport.

You will be only 2 minutes walk from the Clubhouse at the Dave Thomas designed Roda Golf Course. The complex is located close to the beach where the local mud is said to have therapeutic properties. Within 15 minutes walking distance is the town of Los Alcazares which has many good quality restaurants & bars & the beautiful 7km beach of Los Narejos.

The accommodation, which is fully air conditioned, has central heating and lift access, comprises:

Master bedroom: king size bed, balcony, 3 fitted wardrobes, safe & en-suite bathroom with shower above bath.

Large private rooftop solarium with sun loungers (6), dining area (seats 8) giant parasol, built-in barbecue and tap. Access to the solarium is via a spiral staircase from the balcony.

Other equipment includes beach towels, compact poolside chairs, hair-dryer, straighteners, a large selection of books and several DVDs.

N.B. A travel cot and high chair are available on request

As well as the award winning golf course,driving range, pro-shop and European PGA Golf Academy , the resort boasts tennis and paddle tennis courts, as well as multiple swimming pools, a gym, playgrounds and a small shop selling essentials. The clubhouse serves a wide selection of food and drink throughout the day, from breakfasts, snacks and tapas through to a la carte dining (with free wi-fi available).

The resort also boasts its own private beach club (open from 1st June through to 31 August), available only to Roda residents and guests and accessible via a short boat journey across the Mar Menor.

Within a few minutes walk from the resort there is a variety of bars, restaurants, shops and supermarkets. The nearby beach is perfect for children, with warm, shallow water and for the more adventurous, a variety of water sports are available. During the summer months, boat trips are available to explore the Mar Menor area. The beach is well served with beach bars, loungers and parasols.

Excellent and comfortable accomodation. Only issue was parasol on roof terrace was broken and couldnt be used. Kitchen has everything you need and more !

The Los Alcazares / Roda Golf area:

Los Alcazares is situated in the Murcia region of south-east Spain in the area known as the Costa Calida. The Costa Calida extends along 250km from the beach of Carolina in Aguilas, a few kilometres from the province of Almeria, to the beach at El Mojon on the boundary with Alicante.

The town & its neighbour, Los Narejos, sit on the shore of the Mar Menor, Europe’s largest salt water lagoon & is separated from the Mediterranean by a 22 km long strip of land called La Manga. The area enjoys an exceptional climate with an average of 317 days of sunshine each year. A multitude of bars and restaurants provide food, drinks and entertainment.

The warm waters of the Mar Menor help to make the town a magnet for beach lovers and lovers of all manner of water sports. The waters of the Mar Menor are rich in minerals and are well known for their health-giving properties. Los Alcazares has thermal baths which date all the way back to Roman times. Inland the fertile countryside supplies fresh produce to local markets and exports to other European countries. Golfers are well catered for in the area with many golf courses nearby and the area offers a diverse selection of activities including hiking, hillwalking and much more.

Each October the town puts on a week-long outdoor party with music, shows and firework displays in celebration of municipal autonomy gained in 1993. There are several local markets in the area each week, with a diverse range of goods including a variety of local produce.

Los Alcazares is very well connected to the Spanish motorway network, with the historic city of Murcia about 30 minutes drive away. The Roman City of Cartagena, with its wealth of archaeological treasures, including a recently discovered Roman theatre, museums and a port whose history spans 3,000 years is only 15 minutes drive away. There are frequent flights from many European cities to Murcia/San Javier International Airport which is only five minutes drive away. Alicante airport has even more flights, and is about 50 minutes drive away.
