Home away from home

  • 5 of 5

We stayed in the chalet over Christmas 2014 and had a fantastic time. The chalet is very well equipped - it really does feel like your home away from home - it contains all the basics you could possibly need. It is situated in beautiful quiet surroundings, perfect for a family get-away.

The owners went out of their way to assist us with visa letters and were very helpful overall.

I would certainly recommend this property to anyone.

Wonderful stay in the beautiful countryside

  • 4 of 5

My husband and I had a wonderful stay in this very homely chalet. There is just so much space - it would be fantastic for a family or even 2 familes sharing as the 2 floors are quite independent.

It is well equipped and is in a fantastic location for a peaceful holiday. We had some lovely days out in relatively nearby towns and villages especially Riquewihr, Ribeauville and Colmar. Well worth also going to Haut- Koenigsbourg Castle although its further than you think!!

We would definitely like to return to this chalet in the future.

Fantastic, spacious and well equipped chalet

  • 5 of 5

A lovely, spacious chalet. Our family (2 adults, 2 children ages 6 & 10) had a great week here. Lovely MASSIVE well kept grounds for children to play in and around safely - we never worried about them.

Great barbecue area. Plenty of space upstairs and down stairs - you could easily fit two families in here. No faults whatsoever - even on the rainy day we had - chalet is big enough to ensure children are amused and be avoided for a while :-).

This is our third visit to the region and it never ceases to please. Chalet is ideally situated to explore the region. Plenty to do and very friendly French people in the area, very few Brits. However, you can get by on basic French (as we do!) Or even hop across to Germany - the Rhine and the Black Forest isn't too far away by car. La Bresse inflatables and luge runs are worth a visit too.

We would THOROUGHLY recommend this chalet and would hope to be using it again - if available - in future visits to the region.

Really beautiful

  • 5 of 5

We, a group of five friends, spent a week at the chalet in late Ocotber.

A beautifully situated, heated, comfortable, perfectly equipped house welcomed us on our arrival. The beds were made - we felt at home at once.

Long walks in the forests and around lakes in the neighbourhood, trips to nearby villages and towns - each of them a highlight in itself - made that week an unforgettable wonderful experience.

We recommend the chalet to everybody who decides to spend some time in that area. Really beautiful!

Relax in the Alsace

  • 5 of 5

We had a superb fortnights holiday.

The property met our expectations as described on the website. We couldn't have wished for a more peaceful and stunning location in an area that offered numerous attractions and activities. Something for all age groups, from beautiful medieval villages, castles, lakes and forests, to windsurfing, canoeing, etc . Also walking, cycling, luges and museums. We wouldn't hesitate to return.
