Fish and relax!
Here you will have the privacy as if you owned it yourself. Listen to the morning and evening loons talking. This lake has a water clarity of about 15 feet and is great for swimming. Great sand beach, relax and tell stories sitting around a camp fire.
If you are an early riser, enjoy a beautiful sunrise while casting for large mouth bass. Local flea market 5 miles away, every Saturday morning, seems to get a lot of attention from the locals in the area. There is a local bait store nearby including groceries, fishing licenses, tackle and video rentals.

I have been very lucky to find such a beautiful lake home so close to the twin cities. I have decided to share this home with renters untile I am able to retire. This will not happen for about 8 more years. I am in the Masonry construction.I do love to use my cabin when I get a chance. The cabin is close by to the lake home. I do have two separate docks and fire pits for renters and my self when I get a chance to go there.
Loran Georges purchased this house in 2001
I bought this home because it is one of the cleanest lake that I have ever seen. With the water clarity of 15 feet you can see the fish swimming around down there. It has a beautful lake shore also. Lots of sand. And close to the twin cities.
It is so peacefull there and you can hear the loons in the morning and evenings talking on the water. Sitting around the campfire is always great.
We had a great time at this place. Only thing is that their bed/pillow covers need replacement. Rest house is very specious and enough room for five family.
My wife and I are both retired. We decided last summer to treat our three children and seven grandchildren to a family vacation at the lake. We visited Mr. Georges at his Bass Lake Escape property and decided to reserve it over a year in advance, for this past week.
The property delivered everything we could have asked for. There was plenty of room, we had good WiFi reception, cable television, a nice beach, good fishing and our grandchildren had a ball everyday of the week we were there. We could not have asked for more.
Mr. Georges was both gracious and helpful, which made our stay even more enjoyable.
We are seriously considering repeating our family vacation at Mr. Georges property on Bass Lake next year. You would not be making a mistake renting this property.
Brooklyn Park, MN.
We had a couple of rainy days so really appreciated the extra room with 6 kids age nine and under. So nice for all of us to have a place to sit for meals. Kids thoroughly enjoyed the beach and sunfish that were so easy to catch. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 star were just a couple of minor things. Would have been very helpful if shelves were labeled in large master bedroom closet. Had to sort thru all the sheet sets to find sizes. Trying to get all beds made with clean linen by 11 was a challenge. Would also be nice to not bring bath towels, hand towels and hand soap for bathrooms. With the rain, none of the wood would light even that along the fence under tarps. All these are really minor items. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place and would return again. Loran was very easy to work with and reach for questions. Made wonderful memories!
Our family of 16 enjoyed this property very much. There is lots of space to hang out and play games. We had lots of fun on the water, fishing and playing lawn games. The weather was perfect too!
The Bass Lake Escape home was perfect for me and some friends needing a place to stay near buffalo. The beautiful home is very large and has many rooms and beds. The backyard was perfect for some yard games and to enjoy the beautiful view of the lake. The location was easy to find when we plugged it into our navigation. Loran was great to communicate with through e-mail and text. I would highly recommend this location to anyone :)
Booked this property to accommodate family and friends traveling to MN for nearby son's wedding. What a great choice everyone kept telling me. Location was perfect, there was room for all of us, and time just sitting and looking at lake was wonderful....mornings out the window were pretty nice also. Loran was great to work with. Would highly recommend.
