MOGAN -This superb apartment is situated in the most prestigious building in Mogan and is considered to be the most desirable apartment in the area. It is very spacious( 110 sq meters) with 2 double bedrooms, both with private bathrooms en-suite, both with jacuzzis, showers & bidets. The lounge and kitchen area is in the centre, offering maximum privacy in both bedrooms. All the furnishings and fittings are of the highest standard and are contemporary, with every comfort plus Wire-free internet and 42' flat screen TV.

The terraces span all 4 sides of the Penthouse and there is an indoor and outdoor dining area, plus an outdoor breakfast area, a relaxed seating area with a comfortable sofa and coffee table and an additional, private upper terrace which is also perfect for day-long sunbathing. There is a heated swimming pool in the small building and beach is half a minutes walk. Panoramic sea views from the terraces.

On entering the gate to the Penthouse, there is a sense of total privacy and tranquility. The apartment is centred on superb, spacious terraces which surround the entire property. The perimeter walls are adorned with an array of colourful, tropical plants and flowers and the terraces are furnished with a range of high quality outdoor furniture. The large outdoor dining suite and additional seating areas, offers the choice to be alone to sunbathe and read a book, or be together as a family, while dinner cooks on the large gas barbeque ! It is a great pleasure to sit with a glass of wine and watch the breath-taking sunsets from the main terrace....

Inside the apartment, there is a wonderful sense of light and space. The large open-plan, fully fitted kitchen, lounge and dining areas are decorated to the highest standards, complimented with the best quality furniture. Large glass doors lead onto the main terrace, where all the shutters and sun blinds are electrically operated.

Should you wish to swim, the heated pool is located on the lower level.

Dream location

We have just spent a glorious two weeks in the Penthouse after having to wait a couple of years for an availability to arise. Must say; it was worth the wait. We have been holiday self-catering for decades and the penthouse has to come very close to the top of the list of my perfect places to be. It lies in a very quiet part of Mogan and the penthouse is very spacious and well laid out with the two colour coordinated bedrooms (separate safe in each bedroom) at either end of the apartment. It has a large open plan kitchen, so I can take part in the conversations whilst rustling something up in the kitchen. The panoramic view from one of the bedrooms are just to die for, no need to spoil the view by drawing the blinds; a dream to wake up to every morning. The bathrooms are very spacious, round bath/shower; so large that there is no need for a shower curtain. Since life in Mogan is mainly outdoor living; this is where the terraces really comes into their own. There are places for morning coffee in the sun (something that I not found in any of the other places we have rented in Mogan), separate table and chairs for lunch in the sun, or the main table for lunch in the shade. New large sofa for a glass of something chilled later in the day. We never made it up to the large roof terrace; apart from taking stunning pictures of the sunset. Oh, by the way, the swimming pool was always deserted, so it felt a bit like having a private pool. Marian and her team have always been very helpful and accommodating. If some small little problems should arise, they are always at hand and it is sorted out with speed and a smile. I was in two minds about writing this review, could work against us finding availability in the future.

Wonderful apartment with great outside space.

Great apartment, furnished to high standard. The highlight for us was the wrap round sunny terrace with amazing views. Air conditioning would make it 5 star as noisy overnight having to leave the windows open.

Best in Puerto de Mogan!

I will never tire of this apartment. It's wrap around balcony gives you the choice of sun or shade all day and interesting views. The pool is rarely used so it felt like a private pool and it seems the pool cleaner comes every day so it was immaculate. Parking on the road outside the apartment is easy but it is very busy on Friday market day. After 1600 h there is always space. Look forward to returning soon.

Great views and location but interior a let down

While the location and views from the apartment are wonderful,sadly the interior is now in need of a refit after much wear and tear.Points being:

: rusty cutlery & cookware,odd crockery & glasses,rusty handles in kitchen units,broken glass on unit,chrome furniture beginning to rust,poor quality towels(and only one set p.p for a week) and bedlinen,tile grouting missing around bath tub,irregular water pressure & temperature with shower,cheap ornaments and pictures,dirty toilet brush,no air-conditioning (except for 2 small rusty fans) or heating.Very surprised there was no visible signs of a smoke detector,fire extinguisher or basis first aid box which are mandatory in rental properties in some countries.Sorry for the negative criticism but sometimes one has to look beyond the loverly terraces with spectacular views and look at the fundamental facilities on offer for 5* prices and wonder if its value for money

While the photos very accurately portray the apartment, it is clearly not what you expected. We work hard to maintain a high standard and late September, the entire apartment was freshly painted both inside and out. Also in September, we installed a new sofa and dining chairs in the lounge, replaced light fittings in every room and installed all new mirrors and fittings in both bathrooms. The terrace sofa, sun loungers and sun blinds are also new. The Fire Extinguisher is located on the wall beside the entrance gate to the apartment. I always pay guests the courtesy of replying to reviews. Unfortunately, I think it is not possible to change your view so for the benefit of Future Guests, and visitors to the website, following are comments from the Apartment Guest Book. Date of Stay - departed 5th December - M& J - Absolutely Super Apartment. Felt very comfortable here and all equipment, crockery etc are very nice and easy to use. Cooked in a few time and also enjoyed meals out......... Thank you for a lovely Stay. Date of Stay - departed 31st December - C & L - Had a lovely time. Weather was not great but still had a great time. Especially love the outside space. Can't fault it. Thanks......... Great apartment in great location

The description, photos and reviews made this penthouse apartment our first and only choice in Porto Colom, It exceeded all expectations. The views from the angled floor to ceiling bedroom window has the Ocean in front and a mountain range to the side. The various seating areas on the outside terraces consist of sofas, chairs, tables and sun beds offering a choice of sun or shade and of course - wonderful views. Many unique features not fully appreciated until arriving at the apartment. One word sums up this property 'WOW' Loved every minute of our stay. Venture away from the property and restaurants are very good too! Thank you Marian for your ever prompt response to e-mails and professional service.

Excellent Apartment

I have very little to add to what has already been said, this is such a lovely apartment and so much space!! We have been to Puerto de Mogan a number of times and have always been pleased with the accomodation, but this is the best. And as has been said a number of times Marian is a star: Such a helpful lady, always responded quickly. She made our stay just that extra bit more enjoyable - Thank you.

A little History
