Excellent Location and knowledgeable host!

  • 5 of 5

My family and I recently stayed in Pietro's apartment. He was kind enough to provide us with fruit when we arrived and spent over an hour going over the apartment and providing us with so much information to make the most of our stay.

The location was ideal to visit most attractions on foot. Right beside the Villa Borghese Park, we spent many afternoons playing in the park, pedal biking and visiting the zoo. Grocery stores and restaurants were on the street below and we were right at the Piazza del Popolo, putting you right in the centre of Rome.

We would not hesitate to stay here again. Thank you, Pietro!

Excellent location - engaging host!

  • 5 of 5

My friend and I recently stayed 3 nights at Pietro's apartment. The location was perfect - right near the Piazza del Popolo - making it easy to get anywhere in Rome. The Metro was right around the corner. We were so appreciative of the time Pietro spent with us, showing us on the map ideal places to visit during our stay. Since our time in Rome was short, this was very helpful. He even guided us to a coffee shop for morning breakfast where we went each morning for a delicious cappuccino! Towels that were of a slightly better quality would have been nice. Also, since we had paid 40 Euro for the cleaning person, we were surprised we were asked to take out our garbage before leaving. All in all, it was an enjoyable experience despite the towels and garbage. Thank you Pietro!

Location, Location, Location with True Italian Hospitality

  • 5 of 5

I was lucky enough to be able to book this apartment for a last minute trip taking my Mom to Rome for her first time. I am a crew member with a major US airline and prefer not to stay in hotels on personal vacations. I'm in them all the time for work. So I use VRBO/Homeaway often. I can attest to the fact that Pietro is an excellent host who's knowledge of the city of Rome and it's history is immense. Within 10 minutes of me sending an email he responded by phone. We set the reservation and in 2 days I was there. The apt is just steps to the Flaminio Metro Station in front of the Piazza del Popolo so you can get anywhere in the city center by walking or via metro. The apartment is clean, well maintained with all the amenities...fast wifi, cold a/c, ample hot water, and stocked kitchen. But the best attribute of the apartment was Pietro. When we arrived he took over an hour of his time to sit down and explain the layout of Rome, the sites to see, the history of Rome, getting around and other valuable pointers to make our visit pleasurable. He sent emails during the week to check on us to make sure all was okay and if we needed anything. When we checked out he spent another hour with us just talking about our experiences and pointed out things we may have missed for our next visit. His knowledge of art and history is immense. Prepare to learn something. He is a wonderful host who loves his city and wants to share it with his guests. All my best Pietro.

Owner's Response: Wow great! Thank you very much for your beautiful words. One comment so excited, a person who is always ready with a suitcase, which turns the world to work on the plane all the time and that the profession has a great experience of many beautiful places, proud me particularly. Thanks I had great pleasure to welcome you and your mother. I hope to see you soon with other friends.

Unbeatable location, knowledgeable host

  • 5 of 5

The location of this apartment is fantastic, virtually on top of the metro and other public transport, but so close to the heart of everything you can walk to virtually every major (& minor) sightseeing destination. It is the perfect launch pad from which to explore this fabulous city.

Admittedly, there isn't much in the way of comfortable seating for an evening in but who wants to be inside when there is so much to discover.

Pietro has an encyclopaedic knowledge of Rome and is happy to share as much or as little of it as his guests need. He was kind, friendly and helpful and we enjoyed our stay there tremendously.

Lovely apartment and fabulous host!

  • 5 of 5

Pietro is the nicest host you could possibly ever meet! The apartment is an immaculately kept, beautifully decorated cozy spot at the ancient gate of Rome. Convenient to the subway lines. Always bustling with activity outside yet peaceful and quiet from the Windows that overlook a small courtyard. Pietro is genuinely wonderful and passionate about Rome and its history. He spent hours giving us some wonderful information about all historic places and interesting historical tidbits that we would otherwise not have known. Great communication throughout the stay. Also when I foolishly shorted out an electrical outlet late in the evening, he arrived within 15minutes to help restore the electricity. Great place, amazing host! Thanks Pietro!

Great Location, Great Apartment, Great Host !

  • 5 of 5

This condo has the best location we have stayed in. Our family of 4 spent 5 nights here, and everything was great. Pietro our host was wonderful and gave us a ton of useful information of the city and landmarks. Some places (maybe Vatican) might seem to far, but we were able to walk everywhere form this location. Metro station a 3 minute walk. Apartment was very clean, functional, spacious and convenient. All the ammenities you would expect. Had great space so that when we arrived home, we were not all crammed in. Highly recommended !

Thank you Pietro for hosting us while in Rome, we will return one day!

Historical Center. Just 80 meters from Piazza del Popolo and Piazza Flaminio. Hub of all public transport links (bus, metro, tourist buses, trams and taxis) with the rest of the city. Ideal for exploring on foot monuments and museums of Rome, Spanish Steps, Trinita dei Monti, the Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, Roman Forum, St. Peter, Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel, Auditorium, Pantheon, Ara Pacis and Mausoleum of Augustus. It is also near Villa Borghese, where you can make beautiful walks in the most beautiful park in the capital and the Tiber River, around which grew the Roman Empire. For shoppers finally at hand there are the very central Via del Corso, the elegant street nice Baboon, Margutta (street artists) and because of the Sow that leads to Piazza Navona and Via Veneto (the road of ' Dolce Vita '). But there's more. There is much more ....!!!
