About Lindsay Schneider
We are a family of five living in Denver, Colorado, with deep roots in the Midwest - originally from Minneapolis and small-town Nebraska. We love getting away from the hustle and bustle of our busy City life and heading up where it's calm, quiet, and beautiful to recharge and spend some time with the water. Such an amazing combination of peaceful lake living and the vibrant community of Walker at this home.
Lindsay Schneider purchased this House in 2016
Why Lindsay Schneider chose Walker
Such an amazing combination of peaceful lake living and the vibrant community of Walker at this home. We love the historic character of the property and truly believe it is the best view you can find on Leech Lake!

Groom and Groomsmen
Property was located extremely close to BWB Ranches farm house. Home was clean, as listed and property managements response time was great. Enjoyed property and would stay again, not that they would have us again.
Nice, quiet place and great location
We had a good stay at this place. It is a short walk from downtown walker. Mornings and evenings are beautiful on the dock. It is a short drive over to the public boat ramp/ beach.
It does get quite warm upstairs when it is 85 degrees outside, but with the windows open and a good breeze in the evening, it is manageable.
Nice older home in walking distance from downtown Walker
We had a nice time at this house. The home had historic charm. It was a bit run-down in some regards. Little things that could easily be fixed and provide an even better experience.
Elderly people should avoid this home as the steps to the lake are steep and uneven. The area around the dock is nice and sandy. The seat on the dock feels like its ready to fall in. It should be replaced.
Thank you for your feedback Ryan, and I'm glad you enjoyed your stay! I've had the dock bench tightened, and am also looking into replacement options as the current bench design is always going to be slightly wobbly. Thanks again!
