A great place for a family holiday.
We found the Beach House perfect for our needs. The large amount of space was ideal for three adult couples and a baby. It is a good location for visiting a range of nearby attractions and the sunsets were amazing.
5 night stay
Hassle free booking experience. Great customer support. Nice location.
Beautiful house and location
Our experience renting this property was amazing. We all had a great time, it is located in an excellent location and the house itself is well maintained.
Lovely house right on the beach
Spent a lovely 3 nights here over the Easter break as a family of 2 adults and 2 kids (age 3 and 6). The house is large and spacious with two huge living areas. The kitchen is well equipped so would be plenty of space for a larger group. Bedrooms were comfortable, although of note the larger bathroom is the master ensuite. The house is about 1 mile down the road from Dinas Dinille surrounded by farm land and over the road from the beach. It's next to the airport but only a few small planes and helicopters were not disturbing. A short drive to Caernarfon and Snowdonia National Park. Really great location, would definitely recommend.
The Beach House is a beautiful and comfortable place to stay.
We were a family of 5 loved the Beach House, had plenty of room. Relaxed in the sun lounge and admired the sea and mountain views. We would definitely stay again.
Lovely house, well furnished, lots of room, fantastic location with amazing views
The house is large, set back from the sea with private off-road parking. There are other holiday lets in the complex but to the rear. The house is surrounded by fields with lots of birds to watch. There is a large well supplied kitchen with a range oven, dishwasher and fridge freezer (Tesco will deliver). The dining room is separate an the table seats six easily. There are two separate lounges and the sunroom which is lovely and warm on sunny days and has fantastic views of the mountains. Upstairs there are three bedrooms, one double with ensuite (bath), one double and one twin. All the beds were comfortable for adults. There is a seperate bathroom (shower) on the first floor. There is a toilet on the ground floor and an outside laundry room with washing machine and tumble dryer. There is underfloor heating and panel heaters on the ground floor with radiators upstairs if needed. The pictures of the house don't do it justice!
The beach at Dinas Dinlle is beautifully sandy at low tide with a steep shingle to negotiate. Take a walk to the cafe for breakfast or the fish and chip shop for tea. Short drives to Caernarfon and Bangor or Beaumaris. The mountains are within easy reach for walkers or for drives through the valleys. Drive to Llyn Ogwen and walk up to Llyn Idwal for fantatic views. Zipworld quarries are close by. Supermarkets and fuel in Caernarfon.
Would recommend the Beach house without reservation.
Set in 30 Acres of farmland and beautifully situated 150 meters from the award winning Blue Flag beach at Dinas Dinlle, this spacious property with stunning sea and mountain views is ideally placed to explore Angelsey, Snowdonia National Park and the Lleyn Peninsular.
Situated in a rural, seaside location with views towards Snowdonia to the East, Y Eifl Mountain Range to the West with distant sea views of Angelsey and Southstack to the North.
To the west of the property is the seemingly endless pebble and sand Blue Flag beach which is popular with water sports enthusiasts and holidaymakers alike. Swimming, wind-surfing, body-boarding, kayaking and sailing can all be practised here in seas of high water quality.
Sea anglers can also try their luck on what is commonly thought of as the best bass surf beach in Wales. Low water allows fishermen to dig lug worms in the sand opposite the village or rummage for peeler crabs in the estuary close to the Menai Straits and only a short car journey away.
The nearby estuarine nature reserve at Y Foryd is a birdwatchers paradise and makes this stretch of coastline particularly attractive. Visitors can either walk to bird hides where they can spot protected species such as Little Egrets, Greenshanks, Lapwings and Golden Plovers or travel the short car journey along the estuary to Caernarfon Castle itself.
You can enjoy a walk through a site of Special Scientific Interest down the coast boasting fantastic sand dunes, flora and wildlife. This will take you to Historic Fort Belan.
Take a walk a mile in the other direction towards Dinas Dinlle where you will find the Iron Age Fort which is now owned and maintained by the National Trust.
In less than a 15 minute drive you will find yourself in the Snowdonia National Park at Nantelle which is approximately 7 miles away. Here you will find the famous Nantelle Ridge with spectacular walks and stunning views.
