Why Ray Wick chose Hamilton Heights
This private, full-floor apartment is located in a private Owner occupied townhouse, not a large anonymous apartment building. Although you will be self-sufficient in your apartment, the Owner is always available to you for whatever you may need during your stay: tips on sites and getting around NYC, arranging taxi service, emergency repairs, restaurant advice. Much like a private concierge. The townhouse is safe and secure with multiple entry locks, fire & safety systems, well-lighted entry and stairways, outside video security. Your family can be assured of privacy, safety, cleanliness and convenience. The neighborhood is served by 5 Subways with the nearest only a 2 block, 2 minute walk. All destinations are only a few minutes away.
What makes this Apartment unique
Your private townhouse apartment will make you feel like your are returning home at the end of each day. Spacious enough to spread out and relax with all the conveniences of home: a fully equipped kitchen, high-def cable TV, free W-Fi, and, of course, big comfortable beds. Live your holiday like a successful New Yorker.

My wife, daughter and I came to NY after a week in DC. The apartment is very nice and conveniently located. There is a grocery store, several restaurants and subway stops close by. Ray is very helpful and accommodating. He takes pride in the property and his neighborhood.
Very clean, good location and nice host.
I would rent this or from the host again! Very satisfied.
Place had no ac at the time when I book property it states that it does have ac
When I contacted Owner he said there’s only ac certain time of the year he should state it!!!!
We try our best to make all our guests comfortable and respond to their needs while away from home. It is true you had no A/C during your stay, but there is a reason. In NYC, with millions of residents on an island, we are restricted when we can turn on heat or A/C. This is an effort to conserve resources when they are not necessary to use. Older buildings and homes in NYC do not have central A/C in hermetically sealed buildings. Turning on A/C in these buildings is not a matter of flipping a switch. Throughout NYC window A/C units are installed after Memorial Day when the temperature begins to rise. Your visit was during the week before Memorial Day and the A/C units had not yet been installed. You departed on Memorial Day and that day the A/C units were installed in your apartment. On the other hand, I do not believe you had an A/C nightmare, as you state. Here are the daily high temperatures during your stay: 73°, 71°, 73°, 70°, 86°. Only on the final day of your visit was the temperature high enough to warrant an A/C. And the units were installed the next day.
Ray Wick, Owner
Nice, safe and calm area, yet so convenient to downtown and all districts of Manhattan. House is clean and wide enough and king size bed is comfortable. Ray's house is desirable accommodation for family and tourist from far country like us since the area is so nice.
Another fantastic stay
An authentic and great place to stay for a real Manhattan experience.
Our third time of staying and Ray continues to be a great host.
Very well maintained apartment with everything you will need.
Hope to return a fourth time sometime soon.
We spent four nights here with our four daughters (three teens and one 10-yo). The apartment was just the right size with the two fold out beds and the king. It is well-appointed with all the basics (plenty of towels, sheets/pillows/blankets, paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags, etc.). The location is awesome! Just a couple blocks from the 1 train (red for non-locals) and easy to transit to another line that my husband/girls took to the Yankee's game. It's very safe and no worries about walking from the subway at night. There is a McD's, Subway, and grocery/drug store nearby. Not to mention that Ray provides a nice notebook with menus for other local nearby restaurants. My daughter and I tried Picante right off Broadway during happy hour. We drove and lucked out at arrival with a spot on the street. We had to move for street cleaning and found a nearby garage using Spot Hero (or Parking Panda). It was only about at 10 min walk and all was good with that. What we appreciated most was that upon arrival, Ray took the time to show us a map and acclimate us to the neighborhood and offer tips on how to get around via the subway. It was very helpful and enabled us to hit the ground running soon after arrival. This was a great stay and I highly recommend it!
The neighborhood of this Apartment is historically and architecturally one of New York City's richest and most diverse neighborhoods. New York City is the #1 safest large city in the USA. New York City has never been better. Come enjoy EVERYTHING!
