We live near Denver and were married in 2007 at the Hilton Waikoloa. The picture above is us standing near the Kilauea Cauldron in 2012 during a bicycle tour of the Island. Hawai'i is a special place, especially the Waikoloa Beach Resort area. Barb is an anesthesiologist who volunteers for "Operation Walk" medical mission work in Central America. Marc is a CPA who enjoys personally interacting with nice people like you and teaches accounting (how exciting!) part-time at a community college. The Kohala Coast is on the “dry side” of the Island and the weather is very consistent and warm. It offers a respite from Winter our Canadian friends appreciate! Wherever you go, there are magnificent views of the Pacific or dormant volcanic mountains, two of which rise 31,000 feet from the ocean floor. There are so many things to enjoy – beaches & ocean activities, golfing, shopping, dining, touring… see the bullet-point list in the description. I have circumnavigated the entire Island three times on a bicycle and concluded that this region is optimal. You can DO as much or RELAX as much as you desire on the Kohala Coast of The Big Island.

Convenience, flexibility, & value. This 3-bedroom, 3-bathroom, town home provides 1,725 square feet of indoor space plus 2 outdoor lanais at a price comparable to the cost of a small, 300 square foot room at the nearby chain hotels. Don't need 3 bedrooms? Ask about the 2-bedroom rate. A fully equipped kitchen with all the appliances you could want makes eating-in economical and easy. The Island Gourmet grocery, liquor, & sundries store is right across the street. Two other grocery store markets are within a 10-minute drive and there is even a Costco near KOA airport. There are plenty of restaurants within walking distance or a short, scenic drive away. The garage is just steps from the front door and eliminates nightly hotel parking charges. The ENTIRE contents were brand new in Summer 2016 plus the 3-door refrigerator, dishwasher, and washer & dryer. We've tried to provide the "little things" to help you enjoy your stay. Great Stay in Hawaii
The property was as advertised. It was well stocked with cooking utensils , beach chairs and coolers. The townhome was in great shape and was in a great location. We enjoyed sitting up on the upstairs balcony drinking our coffee in the morning. Thanks for the great place to stay.
Grant: Yes, F-1 has a really advantageous location - Starbucks is a 4-minute walk away. The upstairs balcony / lanai is my wife's favorite spot for having that morning coffee, reading, and relaxing. Me, I like an evening glass of champagne after beach time. Mahalo, Marc
Great place to stay!
Very much enjoyed our stay on the Big Island. The property had everything we needed including beach gear. Within walking distance to shops, eateries and even a small beach. Both the owner and property manager were very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. Loved it. Thank you!
A-Bay beach is one mile away and great for watching sunsets at Lava Lava Beach Club. A 10-12 minute drive away are Hapuna or Kekaha Kai Beaches which are even better. Mahalo! Marc & Joe
Great for families
Spacious rental. The kitchen had everything we might need. Separate bedrooms makes vacations so comfortable. My youngest loved the bunk beds. Great location next to shopping.

Wonderful place in a central location
Beautiful home near anything you could need or want. Marc is a gracious host and even provided a delicious cake to help us celebrate my brother’s birthday! We would definitely love to revisit this property again!
Best condo ever
We have stayed at many units in this complex over the last 8 years (we come every winter). This unit by far was the best we have stayed in. The house was beautifully decorated with comfortable and updated furniture and gorgeous Hawaiian decor (Thank you Barb - loved the quilts). The appliances were top of the line and new, making meal prep and cleanup a breeze. There was plenty of seating for our entire family of 7, both at the dining table and on the patio. The lanai was super private. The office in the loft was great to have and the wifi speed was top notch. The garage was decked out with absolutely anything and everything you need for the beach and the kitchen was so well stocked we had plenty of dishware and silverware for our large party. Most of all, our host Marc and the property manager Joe went out of their way to make our stay perfect. They were in communication at all times, ready to answer questions and ensure our stay was the best possible. This will definitely be our "go to" place for next year and the years to come. Everything we hoped for to make a great family vacation
No surprises here.. everything was as advertised . Roomy, well maintained, comfy beds and well equipped, the owner marc was always in touch and accomodating as was the manager joe. Our large family loved this condo and its location to snorkelling, swimming or bodysurfing minutes away . You’ll love this rental!
