We are a retired military family who fell in love with this home by the lake. We have a large family and were always concerned about comfortable places to stay when going on vacation. With that in mind, we put extra thought and care into creating a space where you can bring your family to enjoy your time away from home.

This cozy cabin is a wonderful place to unwind, read a book, enjoy a walk in the woods, whatever is relaxing to you- you can find it at the Hunni Hut. If you need more space than the Hut, you can rent the House and accommodate up to 12 people. Come explore the beauty of Lake Cumberland! With both the Hut and House being fully furnished, you have the ability to prepare meals in the cabin (kitchenette includes a microwave, hot plate, countertop oven, coffee pot, toaster, waffle iron) full kitchen in the House. We also have a laundry area in the House off the master bedroom, adding extra convenience during your stay.

What makes this Cabin unique

This location is private, feels very secluded surrounded by woods and wildlife, and wonderful seasonal lake views! Close to boat docks and only 15 minutes from town, you can be minutes away from all the necessities but feel remote. You can hear the hoot owl on some nights, and the squirrels chirping in the trees that surround the property. You may catch a glimpse of the foxes that wander around the woods, and on SPECIAL occasions you may catch a glimpse of a bobcat. It's truly a special place!
