Renovated house in a rural village

Stayed over for New Year and managed to fit in a number of visits to various places, including Arras, Bruge and Euro Disney to name but a few! So we were all rather exhausted after the week, but it was well worth it.

To be honest the house looks a little run down from the outside (but we understand that you are obviously in the process of doing it up) however, inside was very different, the house has been renovated to a very lovely standard. It was also very clean, I particularly enjoyed the complimentary botte of wine, thank you! We did have a slight issue with flies during our stay, the heat seemed to bring them out in force, but we dealt with it and the kids were somewhat entertained using the fly zapper!

We have stopped in a number of properties over the years and this one certainly felt like home from home. I have never slept so well! The only thing I would recommend is maybe a clothes horse and a few more cups and plates as we kept running out. A few leaflets about the area would also be handy!

Thank you for a lovely stay and the added little touches like the Christmas tree it was most appreciated.
