Lovely surroundings - good stay
There was a bit of a mix-up with the booking when we first arrived. But after a few phone calls, everything got sorted and Joe went out of his way to ensure all was well.
It is a lovely place and the cottage was perfect for a young family.
If there was a small comment (and this really is being picky), then maybe having a cafetiere to make some coffee would be great …husband gets grumpy when he does not get his coffee :-)
The owners may want to check the drain for the shower - we flooded the bathroom and water started going into the hallway. Maybe it was because we had the dishwasher on at the same time and overwhelmed the drainage system?
Otherwise a very comfortable stay.
Many thanks for taking the time to write the review ,very useful as we have now adjusted the drainage
and Tracey had forgotten to put the cafetiere back after washing it so sorry for that
Glad you enjoyed your stay and hopefully see you again
Lovely relaxing place
A lovely place to stay to relax, the host was great, even brought us home made bread and jam
Thanks for the review and hope to see you again

Property was great and in a fantastic location
Tracey and Joe couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating and we all enjoyed the homemade Irish bread they gave us. I would definitely stay there again and recommend to anybody else without hesitation.
Mark thanks for this glowing review! We really appreciate it and we hope to welcome you to Horseshoe cottage!

Beautiful cottage in tranquil setting
Our satnav took us on a bit of a wild goose chase but when we finally arrived we were met with home made goodies on the kitchen table! We were made to feel very welcome by the owners (Tracey and family) who were lovely and friendly, and the cottage was very cosy, comfortable and clean. There were plenty of towels, tea towels etc provided. Beds were comfortable with adequate storage in the bedrooms, but take care coming out of the double bedroom, the small step caught me out a couple of times!
We had a minor problem getting the tv to work but it didn't really matter as we could use our tablets to watch what we wanted.
You definitely need a car to get around. We spent a couple of days visiting Belfast tourist destinations and it was lovely to come back in the evening to the tranquillity of the cottage. Very relaxing and peaceful and I would definitely recommend this beautiful cottage.
Margaret and lovely family thanks so much for a lovely review. I really appreciate it. Hope to see you again one day.
