Unattached historic house connected to fenced in pool - peaceful view
About Heidi Parcher
The Parcher family consists of 4 young men and their parents. Three are out of the house. We have home schooled the boys and they are now enjoying their late teens and early twenties. They really enjoy working, so it's hard to catch them all home at the same time. Our oldest is a volunteer firefighter who is taking after his father who had volunteered for 15 years. Our only pet at this time is Torren our small pit bull.
Heidi Parcher purchased this Cottage in 2011
Why Heidi Parcher chose Coopersville
If you are looking for a quiet peaceful home to take a rest, this is the place! Enjoy some "down time" relaxing in our pool. We are 5 minutes away from Allendale and Coopersville. We are 15 minutes away from downtown Grand Rapids and 30 minutes from Grand Haven beach.
What makes this Cottage unique
This unique home qualifies as historic! Built in the 1830's, there are many stories this house could tell. The most profound piece of information is that the main house was built for a Methodist pastor and his family of Lamont. He would have parked his horse and carriage in the house you will be staying in and possibly have some servants living in the upper floor to help with the estate. Remember, this house has little dents and scratches because it is so old. We try to save our projects for the down time during the winter months. So, keep in mind you will be visiting a OLD house in the COUNTRY with country smells and country critters outside.

Quaint get away
This place is so cute and quaint. It was in a very small, old town but not at all creepy or desolate!! This is a house in someone's backyard, but they were extremely hospitable, and SO nice!! They had great instructions on check in/check out and responded to my text immediately.
I LOVE how accommodating they were to our fury friends, which is hard to find. They had dog treats, dog bowls, etc. They have a gorgeous pool/deck area, which I wish I had more time there to actually enjoy!!!
My absolute ONLY complaint was I wish they had a window AC unit in the downstairs space... I get very hot, always, so I wasn't able to stay down there much as the upstairs unit didn't really make it's way down. But the upstairs unit and fan kept it quite cooled upstairs!
This is a smaller space, but absolutely serves the purpose of a nice little getaway. Would definitely stay here again, me and my sister were already talking about planning a 2nd trip here!!!
Parcher Carriage House
Very comfortable, cozy & quiet with great scenery. Pool is great!
We chose this property to be equidistant from Spring Lake & Grand Rapids...and it was perfect! My husband, I, & our 2 boys fit perfectly here (the 2 twin blow up mattresses helped with that :-))! While we did spend most of our time out & about, the time we did spend here we loved sitting out by the pool while the boys swam and we looked out over the beautiful country! The owners were wonderful as well! Check-in was super easy...and Heidi is such a delight to communicate with! She is super responsive and helpful. As a bonus, I had accidentally left a sentimental item behind...and Heidi was kind enough to look for it, find it, and mail it back to me. SO NICE!!! Thank you so much for you hospitality!
So quiet, peaceful and relaxing just what I needed. So much better than staying in a hotel!
Wonderful vacation stay
There were four of us - me, my DH, and our two Corgis. We were very comfortable, the guest house was clean and well appointed, and we enjoyed the pool.
Just as expected :).
Nice little place for small family. The hosts are easy to contact. Peaceful property, great pool. Enjoyed our stay.
Thank you for staying with us! We enjoyed you as well. Come back anytime.
