Very nice villa air-conditioned of 240sqm, located in a very quiet place close to the center of the village, nice garden of 3000 sqm with a lot of flowers, securied pool and 10 long sunbeds, covered tarasse of 40 sqm with an outside kitchen, a BBQ, table, 4 bedrooms, 4 ensuite bathrooms, nice living room with a chimney and a big TV, inside kitchen well equipped : US fridge, oven, Microwave, Dishwasher, fast boradband internet access wifi.

4 bedroom - 4bathroom Executive Villa with Large Pool and Garden in Saint Remy de Provence

This villa is part of a two villas large property with enclosed garden and security access.

Very close to the old center of Saint Remy de Provence, at the end of a private road, you enter the property through a large gate giving access to 2 separate villas.

This recently built and tastefully decorated villa accommodates up to 10 people.

The layout is as follows :

Ground Floor :

The house distributes a large living room (63 sqm) and dining area, a fully equipped eat-in-kitchen. There is a bedroom on this floor.

The living room has two sets of French windows opening onto the garden and looking onto the pool. There is a fireplace, two large sofas, some armchairs, as well as a TV, and a stereo system with CD player.

The dining area is furnished with an oval dining table seating 8.

The open and separate kitchen is separated from the kitchen by an eating counter, it is fully equipped : an oven, four electric induction hotplates, a microwave, a coffee maker, a toaster, a American fridge and a dishwasher. A windows looks onto the garden. Next to the kitchen is a laundry room with a washing machine.

The first bedroom is on the western part of the house. It has a south exposed French window opening onto the garden , a double size bed, a dresser and a chest of drawers.

There is an en-suite stall shower bathroom with toilet.

First French Floor :

On the upper floor are three more bedrooms :

The first bedroom to the right is furnished with 3 single beds, a chest of drawers and a wardrobe. There is an en-suite bathroom with a double washbasin, a stall shower and a toilet.

The second bedroom is also furnished with 3 single beds with bedside tables. There is an en-suite stall shower with a washbasin and a toilet.

The third bedroom has a double bed, a baby bed, a dresser and a large built in closet. There is a bathroom with a tub and separate stall shower and a toilet.

Each bedroom on this floor has a window facing south and opening onto the garden.

A fully equipped summer kitchen is available off the kitchen and the living room, under the large paved and shaded terrace with garden furniture.

It is equipped with a BBQ, 4 gas burners and a sink.

The landscaped garden is planted with trees (olive, palm…) and lawn.

The large swimming pool (10Mx5 M) is surrounded by lawn.

You access the property through a private lane. At the rear of the house are enough parking spaces for several cars. There is also a garage for 2 cars.

The house is situated down the mountain range called ‘Alpilles’; 30 minutes south of the city of Avignon, and less than five minutes drive from the famous village of Saint-Rémy de Provence.

Within their surroundings, the Alpilles chain of mountains forms both a striking and a harmonious picture. This area is the ‘Provence of the Rhone’ and has a strong Roman heritage. It is also the landscape of famous painters such as Van Gogh, Cézanne and Matisse who came here to capture the extraordinary light and color of the region.

It is also rich agricultural area with rolling plains of fruit orchards, olives groves and all variety of Mediterranean vegetables. It is alive with the sound of chirping 'cigales' and the intoxicating aromas of multitude of wild herbs... This area is the ‘Provence of the Rhone’ and has a strong Roman heritage. The famous ruins of Glanum -an archeological site from the first century BC- are nearby.

The closest highway is the A7 (exit Cavaillon) 20 minutes drive away, which goes from Lyon to Marseille with connections for all major cities of the south east of France.

The closest train station is at Avignon and is served by the TGV (Train Grande Vitesse, i.e. high speed train) that goes to Paris in 2 hours and 40 minutes!

The closest airport is Avignon as well with daily flights to Paris. But most international connections are made through the international airports of Marseille-Marignane or Paris-Charles de Gaulle.

Wonderful stay!

We really enjoyed our time at Mas Garance in St. Remy. The setting was gorgeous and the house was perfectly laid out. We especially loved easily moving back and forth from the indoor and outdoor kitchens. Easy 10-15 minute walk into the town. We will be back!

Très bel endroit, belle propriété, calme et bien équipée.

Charmante maison confortable et bien située. À 10 minutes à pied du village et très calme. Nous avons passé un agréable séjour entre amis, et endroit idéal pour rayonner dans la région, la mer n'est qu'à 50 minutes de voiture. Nous recommandons cet endroit sans hésitation.

Les points négatifs, maison à peine prête à 16h30 lorsque nous sommes arrivés, et l'impression qu'on devait se dépêcher de partir le jour du départ. Les rideaux de douches mériteraient d'être changés ou lavés, car le bord tout jaune et mal odorant n'est pas très hygiénique. Pour le reste, c'était correct.

Traumvilla mit Pool und Kamin, Vogelzwitschern und nur 10 min Spaziergang zu Stadtzentrum

Die Villa ist ein provencalischer Traum! Sie liegt absolut ruhig auf einem herrlichen Grundstück mit Blick auf die Alpilles.

Tolle Ausstattung innen wie außen, herrliche Außenküche, man will gar nicht weg.

Wir saßen zu Weihnachten vor dem perfekt ziehenden riesigen Kamin, den Pool konnten wir leider nicht nutzen, weil es doch zu kalt war.

Der erste Bäcker für stets frisches Baguette ist zu Fuß in 10 min zu erreichen, 3 min weiter ist man im Stadtzentrum.

Dieses Feriendomizil ist einfach wunderbar.
