Stunning top floor 2 bed, 2 bath flat with many extras, close to zone 2 tube.

This flat is brand-new in a gated luxury development in Bow, E3, just three min from a DLR station and five min from a tube - zone two so quite central. It is in the top floor with reliable mirrored lift and has a beautiful open-plan living area with leather sofa and matching double sofa bed, a glass dining table and chairs for six and the most gorgeous kitchen I have ever seen in a holiday let. Really deep Corian worktops, top-of-the-range AEG appliances including a dishwasher and washer-dryer, masses of cupboard space and swanky extra touches like recycling bins and the coolest sockets you will ever see!

I am sending this to Elizabeth to post for me as I have been unable to fathom out the review system on HomeAway and Elizabeth told me that so many other people have told her this. Ridiculous! Anyway we had a top-notch stay in this charming flat. Spotlessly clean, warmly welcoming with tea and cake and the radio playing and decorated with real care and attention. Very well-located for the tube, Docklands Railway (no time at all to Stratford for fantastic Westfield Centre - literally go on train and sat down and got up again!) and we took the bus down to Spitalfields Market which has Brick Lane (trendiest bit of London) and also Petticoat Lane AND Columbia Road (the coolest Sunday morning flower market ever - real London) right by it. The flat is handy for the supermarkets and some pubs and cafes used by locals too but we spent most of the time in the E1 and West End. Covent Garden was easy and fast to reach by tube and we loved it there too although it is more touristy than Spitalfields.



We could not fault the flat although the hot water to the shower in the family bathroom seemed overly complex but this is not the fault of the flat or the owners who have provided a photographic explanation with the notes and guide books etc. There are also films and books and games. Really, everything has already been thought-of for you. Genuinely caring manager in Elizabeth. And the best bit probably (except her) is that we were quoted an all-inclusive price which did include everything unlike the prices from all the other owners and managers we contacted initially.



Everything including a driver to collect us and take us to the flat!! was included so we could budget and stick to it! I am sorry I could not leave this review online but it is a genuine review from genuinely grateful guests. We hope to return and send our best regards from Napier in the meantime. Very comfortable place to call home after a long day of sightseeing!

Our family stayed for five nights in July with three teenage girls plus my daughters college roommate. The flat is very comfortable and clean. Very well appointed. Aside from the refrigerator, we did not use the kitchen. Mike was EXTREMELY helpful. We visited during a heat wave and he brought us extra fans, always answered any questions we had very promptly. They extra bathroom and washer were a huge bonus, especially with 4 teen girls! Grocery store and tube station are a very short walk. Only drawback we found were no restaurants in walking distance. We also used the car service both from airport and to Chunnel station. It was very convenient! Overall, we had a wonderful stay!

Fantastic!

We had a wonderful stay in London, and this apartment was a great starting off place, every day! The apartment was lovely, in a secure building and safe area, with loads of extras, including adapters for the outlets, tea, coffee, sugar, and several books for us to use in our adventures in London. We spent six nights in the apartment, and thoroughly enjoyed our time! Mike was a superb host, calling us when we got there to make sure that everything was fine, and even meeting our train before we left the country, to bring us some important items that we'd left behind in the flat. We are grateful that everything was made so easy for us, and would definitely recommend this rental to anyone!

Good home away from home base for London

My parents and I enjoyed our 6-night stay here in London. With 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms it gave us all enough space and it was nice to have a living room/dining space for breakfast and in the evenings. It's clean plus there's a lift and laundry available. It's an easy walk to the Bow Road tube station which is District line and Hammersmith/City line - both of which make easy trips into the heart of London. There's a grocery store within easy walking distance. Mike was a wonderful help both before the trip and during our stay. I recommend taking advantage of the car service - we were picked up at the train station and my parents had an easy ride straight to Heathrow at the end of their stay. This is a great option if you are planning to stay for several nights in London.

Modern Comfortable Flat

The flat is modern with very nice kitchen. Beds are comfortable and we enjoyed our stay. Supermarket is nearby and also there is a bus that goes to Tottenham Court Road station at the other end of Oxford Street. The flat was clean and we were given the keys of the flat at agreed upon time. I do not have hesitation in recommending the property to others.

Comfortable, convenient and well managed

The apartment was very comfortable to stay in, very new and modern, with all the conveniences you would expect in an apartment. Most importantly, it was clean, warm (in winter) and quiet (by Central London standards).

The management team were extremely helpful. They were responsive to my questions and requests. I did have a problem with the hot water, but they fixed it on the same day (presumably at considerable expense to the owner). Personally, I had a quite a few questions, and Mike was always happy to respond.

It is worth noting that there are very few restaurants in the immediate area, but it is a 4 minute light rail ride (10-15 minute journey in total) to Westfield, which is a major shopping centre with an international food court. It's also very easy to get into the city and international rail connections.

Protip: Do yourself a favour and order your groceries (and staples) online in advance, and get them delivered after your arrival. I used ocado.com. The kitchen is good, and the fridge is a decent size. You will need to be a little organised if you want to have breakfast before going out. Alternatively there is a decent supermarket just up the road, but delivery is so convenient!

I was in London for business, and I found that the apartment was incredibly comfortable to work in. The WiFi was fast and reliable, and there was plenty of space to work on the dining table. I also really enjoyed popping out to Carmelite Cafe (5 minute walk) for a decent "Italian style" coffee (sorry America - you don't know how to make coffee).

Another tip: The optional "Meet & Greet" service comes highly recommended. The apartment is a long way from the airport, and it is worth the additional convenience.

Most Honorable- Refund received after cancelation

It is not often that you find a property owner like Elizabeth who is willing to bend the rules to accommodate and please her clients upon cancelation. Unfortunately, we never had the pleasure of staying here because our business trip got canceled. Upon notification, Elizabeth took immediate action to find someone to lease her place so that she could get much of our deposit back to us as possible, which is almost unheard of in today's let market. She was able to rebook her unit and quickly refunded almost all of our deposit back to us. We were so incredibly grateful to her and surprised that such an honorable and decent person would do this for us. We had no expectations of getting any refund back, but we certainly were very impressed by her kindness and decency. Elizabeth has exceptional communication skills as well which we appreciated along the way. Though we did not have the pleasure yet to stay in her unit, we would most definitely rebook and we would highly recommend doing business with her as well. We thank you for making this transaction pleasurable and so easy. Thank you again for everything!

Bow is a characterful area in the East End of London which has seen radical changes in the last few years. Now classed as part of 'Docklands' and, more recently, the Gateway to the Olympics, this is your opportunity to stay in the real London but still less than half-an-hour on the tube (station less than five minutes walk away and the DLR is even nearer) to the centre of the West End. The flat is in a brand-new gated development of luxury flats on the edge of the beautiful Bow Conservation area. They have spotless, spacious communal areas and fast mirrored lifts along with a lovely raised communal garden and this flat even has allocated parking. It is on the top floor with only two other flats (all owned by us) so is perfect for large groups or families travelling together. Views are over London and the Olympic stadium from the large windows with Juliet balcony in the main room.

Bow is a very historical part of the East End of London with traditional pubs including the famous Bow Bells just around the corner. There are also green spaces including the gothic Tower Hamlets Cemetery - sounds spooky but it's a gorgeous unspoilt wilderness and also very famous, being one of the original Victorian 'Magnificent Seven' cemeteries. These days Bow is better known for being very close to Stratford - just one stop taking four minutes! - so has incredibly easy access to the brand new Westfield Shopping Centre and, of course, the Olympics stadium! In the other direction and also very easily accessible by either DLR or the tube is the rest of London. You can be anywhere in the City or West End within half an hour and a few minutes more to Harrods and 'Museum Mile'. Virtually everywhere is either a direct journey or has one change.

Particularly close is the very trendy (and also historically important) area that includes the wonderful markets Brick Lane, Spitalfields, Petticoat Lane and Columbia Road. As well as these world-famous street markets there are the 'Indian' restaurants of Brick Lane, the wonderfully-preserved Huguenot houses of Spitalfields and, of course, the spectacular Hawksmoor masterpiece Christ Church.

  • The flat boasts two bathrooms which is still quite unusual for London. The first is the family bathroom off the hall and has a wonderful quality white suite with chrome fitments and illuminated vanity unit. The en-suite is a shower room, again top quality with expansive tiling and expensive fittings.

  • The main bedroom has a good quality king size bed, a fitted wardrobe and a gorgeous en-suite shower room. The second bedroom is very small but does have enough room for two standard single beds - just! One of the beds can go under the other if you only require a bedroom for one person and this gives more room of course. The living room has two top-of-the-range leather sofa beds with sprung mattresses so the flat sleeps six in comfort.
