This is perfect Provence! Sleeps 8, short walk to Bonnieux

A short walk from the beautiful village of Bonnieux, this property is in a lovely spot with panoramic views to the Luberon countryside and to the village.

It’s a charming villa which has been very tastefully renovated with style and a very good quality throughout.

The villa is set over 100m² and there are four bedrooms, 3 with an en suite shower room. 2 of the double rooms also have en-suite toilets, plus there's a third, independent toilet.

The villa is set in a lovely garden with a swimming pool and plenty of outside terraces for summer dining, with a BBQ and lovely views.

The village of Bonnieux has a good selection of restaurants and shops as well as a weekly market, and is only a few minutes walk away.

The living room is comfortable, has a TV with some Satellite channels and is well decorated. It leads to a lovely shady terrace, an ideal place to enjoy meals with friends or family

The kitchen is fully fitted and well equipped with pretty much everything you would need - dishwasher, electric hob, microwave, coffee machine, etc..

There is a washing machine in the utility room for you to use as well as some storage area here for cleaning materials.

There are four bedrooms, 3 en-suite (shower) double rooms and a fourth bedroom, upstairs, with 2 single beds.

One of the bedrooms is accessed through another of the bedrooms, and the en-suite shower rooms are a modern, open style - without doors

Outside there is about 1250 m² of land with the house. The garden is enclosed with natural looking, low stone walls.

There is also private parking available for your car.

The swimming pool measures 8 x 4 metres and is a depth of between 0.90m to 1.70m. It is protected by a pool alarm.

As an optional extra, the pool can also be heated for an additional 150 Euro per week. The pool is generally open each year from May to mid October.

Good villa in an excellent position

A good sized well appointed villa in a fantastic position looking up to the Provençal village of.Bonnieux.There is cream stone flooring, very good facilities and two terraces to enjoy meals. The pool is small but adequate and also enjoys the great view. I like the way there is a good air flow through the villa when various doors are open. The garden is pretty, but it's the village that makes this villa special. Bonnieux is a living village with real facilities and a great weekly market.Be warned though, the climb to it will make you very fit by the end of a stay!

It's rare to find a spacious villa, with a private pool, garden and views, so close to the village amenities - bakers, shops, cafes, restaurants, bike hire shops, tennis courts, and yes, the lovely market on a Friday morning. Two couples holiday- Astronomers Dream

Beautiful House and gardens, has everything you could possibly need. It was spotlessly clean and freshly decorated. Fantastic view of the village from the Pool and Terrace. Has to be the nicest house we have ever rented. We took a Telescope with us and the skies were amazing. The town is lovely with everything you need, with a good choice of restaurants. It is walkable from the house, but not for anyone with walking difficulties as it is a very steep climb to the center, you can drive up and park though.

We only had one problem with the pool, following a stormy afternoon day, it got very dirty and cloudy, but we reported it in the evening and the pool was cleaned by the time we got up the next morning, without any disturbance to us.

Our flight was delayed, but with a call to Kris who managed the house, this was overcome and the keys left for us in a safe place.

Something to note however, on the directions that came with the paperwork, it says to turn left at the speed bump, at the bottom of the village, be aware that the speed bump is on the other side of the road so you may miss it, if you get to the roundabout you need to come back on yourself and turn right at the speed bump. It had us fooled a few times.

We would recommend this house and the whole area, as a perfect base for a holiday. We would love to go again.

Perfectly placed villa.

Situated at the foot of Bonniuex there is a magnificent view of the village from each terrace. The house is very comfortable with excellent facilities. We especially liked the two large double bedrooms with walk in showers. Everything is very tasteful. The pool, although quite small is perfectly adequate. Bonniuex is a steep climb away but has many restaurants and a lot of charm.

The local village of Bonnieux is well serviced with bakers, butchers, grocers, bank and a post office. There are also a number of restaurants, one or two of which have very good reputations and are well known in the area.

The village itself is well worth exploring. It is one of the famous perched villages and is set on the side of a hillside.

The village has many different levels as it climbs the hill, with different squares, cobbled streets and passages all waiting to be explored.

It's also a great location for touring and leisure; there are a number of the Grand Randonnée hiking routes that pass by the village and the Cavaillon to Apt Cycling route also runs by the village.

The view from Bonnieux is out over the plain of the Luberon, with vineyards, fields and cherry orchards. Further in the distance you can see other tiny medieval villages, also perched on hills but on the other side of the valley.

There is a weekly market on a Friday and as well as the usual small village shops, there are cafes, bars and restaurants, all of which are within walking distance of this house, only a stroll away from the centre of the village.

Markets can also be found at a host of other local towns; Cavaillon, Roussillon, Coustellet and Apt to mention just a few.

The closest supermarkets are either in Cavaillon or in Apt.
