Peaceful and perfectly charming
While Annestown was a bit of a challenge to find on our first ever day in Ireland, this cottage was well worth the effort. The best part of it all was the owner Sean who welcomed us personally and made sure that we had everything we needed. Thanks Sean, sorry we couldn't have stayed for a few more days.
Easy to find and worth the stop
We loved our one night stop in Annestown which was far too short. The cottage was perfect for our needs and Sean was an added bonus. His knowledge of the area and suggestions of what to see and do was valuable to our trip.
It was wonderful to meet Moana, her sister and her mother. 3 lovely ladies, who I enjoyed spending time with a chatting over breakfast. I truely hope you enjoyed the rest of your visit to Ireland.
Thanking you so much for your kind comments, and it would be a pleasure to host you again.
What a wonderful surprise this little gem was. Mike met us at the house when we arrived with a warm welcome and walked us through all the issues that are foreign to Americans, as the oil usage, on/off power supply for the stove and showers, etc. But we figured it all out and had a great time. Do not hesitate to stay here on the ocean, almost in the ocean at high tide : )

Very nice and a great host
I can not say enough great things about Sean and the cottage. Sean was very welcoming and gave us a tour of the cottage and the surrounding area. The cottage was very neat and is very well maintained. Upon our arrival, the place was very clean and welcoming. I would definitely recommend staying here. Sean, thank you so much for everything!
It was a pleasure to host Andrew and Jan. They were both great to talk to, and they respected the cottage and left it in perfect condition.Hopefully your next visit will be a leisure visit. Thank you for choosing us as hosts.
Sweet cottage, wonderful hosts, great location
Cottage is beautiful, so sweet. Hosts are very nice and live next door. Location was great for our family and Sean was Very knowledgeable about the area and things to do. Price was right and it was a great deal.
Great to meet Sam and his friends. Had a listen to Sam's band's (Horace Green) album on spotify and was really impressed. Way to go Sam.
These were really great young people, who were very respectful of our home. I hope their friend, Aldo, recovers from a nasty fall he had from a tree in Kerry, and all 4 are reunited soon. Hope to see you again in the future guys.
