About Michele South (firstname.lastname@example.org)
I fell in love with NC when I first flew into Asheville airport. I purchased this property for the privacy. There isn't buildable land in sight when looking out from the deck. I love not seeing other houses. It is like living in Little House in The Prairie ....so safe and lush. This is my dream come true. Enjoy it and treat it well.
What makes this Cabin unique
It's near everything and off of well maintained roads. Close to the grocery, airport, medical, rafting, waterfalls, hiking etc.

Pease and Quiet
Our weekend was wonderful. The directions and ease of getting to the cabin was smooth. The driveway is steep but we had no problem getting up it and had room at the top to park. Once we arrived everything inside was clean and ready for our stay. We did have one question which Michelle replied very rapidly with the answer so that was awesome. She was very prompt in making sure we had all we needed. Kitchen is adequately stocked, beds and bathrooms linens clean. The surroundings are very peaceful and quiet a very relaxing get away for the weekend to sit out on the porch and and enjoy the time. Thank you for sharing your home.
A Gem in the Mountains!
This property is exactly as pictured and in excellent condition! It must have been cleaned by experts as everything from the linens to surfaces was very fresh and tidy. We pushed this lovely chalet to its square footage limits with 5 people and their dogs, but made it work and had a great time. The roads in and out were picturesque and fun! As for the famous driveway, a Tesla, a Ford Expedition, and a Jeep Wrangler had no problem. Only the Jeep engaged its 4-wheel drive, but, truly, it was not needed. Great place!
Peaceful, Modern Mountain Cabin Getaway
I would absolutely recommend staying at this beautiful and cozy cabin. It was like a home away from home. The owner was very responsive and accommodating during our stay. It was the perfect relaxing place for my family of 6 (including 2 kids).
I'm so glad you had a wonderful stay! Thank you
Beautiful private retreat
South Mountain was incredibly easy to find, our GPS took us right there and the drive is marked with a sign. The driveway was a breeze with our 4wd rental suv. We considered taking our 2wd and parking at the bottom, but with pets and luggage we are sooooo glad we were able to park at the top. The cabin is beautifully furnished with all the basics you could need. We grilled, cooked in doors, roasted marshmallows over the fire pit and was still close enough to venture to Asheville for a few meals as well. The WiFi is a lifesaver, as we came to find out ATT has very limited signal throughout most of the area (Verizon is the reception winner here). The A/C kept us cool and our 2 small dogs loved being able to explore the yard and different areas around the house. This is truly a cabin in the woods so seeing a large spider or mysterious insect near you isn’t necessarily a surprise but we were surprised at how few bugs actually made it into the cabin! After taking our pets outside a few times a day you would expect more little bugs to find their way in through the opening and closing door, but they didn’t! Such a relief for someone who is terrified of bugs!!!
Michele was such a pleasure to rent from. We had a couple very minor hiccups and after a quick message she was Johnny on the spot, going above and beyond! I can honestly say this was the perfect cabin for my husband and I to take our 2 small dogs on a week long anniversary weekend!! You certainly can’t go wrong renting this gem!!!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cabin. We especially enjoyed the outdoor fire pit. the location was great, not too far from anything. Thanks for a great stay!
Beautiful cabin to getaway from it all.
My family and I had a great time staying here. We took advantage of the horse back riding about 10 minutes down the road. Beautiful views from being up on the mountain especially with all the leaves changing colors. Utilized the fire pit to make smores. Only about 30 minutes from Asheville. You will definitely need a 4 wheel drive vehicle to get up the driveway as it clearly states in the ad. I would most definitely stay here again. The owner was easily reachable with any concerns or questions. Great place to relax away from the world!
