A villa ideal for relaxation close to nature

Karina Villa is built on a 800sq.m field, part of a 5500 sq.m private property. In this property there is also a fenced area where a stable, a kraal and a hennery are found. After consultation with the owner you can ride the horses for an excursion at the surrounding area. The garden of the villa is covered with grass and around the pool there are sunbeds for your sunbath. The barbecue is ideal for preparing delicious meals, while the wooden garden swing is the perfect place for romantic moments admiring the country side.

The villa is a single floor traditional villa. The entrance door opens to a cosy area with a stone arch. The setting and the dining areas are furnished with traditional wooden sets and the kitchen is fully equipped. The villa has three bedrooms; one double and two twin. The common bathroom is equipped with a hydro massage bathtub, while the en suite to the double bedroom bathroom is equipped with shower cabin. A computer and WiFi Internet access are provided.

Karina Villa is a stone built villa, situated about 500m away from the traditional hamlet of Maza. At Maza there are 2 taverns with traditional Cretan dishes, while for more amenities you have to visit Vrises Village, about 3km away from the villa. Georgioupolis Resort - the starting point of a 9km sandy beach - is about 6km away. The villa is located in a peaceful area and has an unobstructed view over the country side and the distant mountains.

The payment is accepted only in Euro and the prices may change a little, depending on the term of stay and the number of persons.

A deposit of 20% is required to secure the booking. The balance can be paid at your arrival at the villa. Security deposit for damages is not demanded.

Vrises village is built at an altitude of 70m, 30km away from Chania city, to the main road to Rethymno and is the junction linking the north coast with Sfakia Province. The name of the village comes from the topography of the region, as there are many fountains (Vrises in Greek), springs and running waters. The arresting location where the village is built, the abundant waters, the fountains and the little rivers make Vrises one of the most beautiful villages of Apokoronas.

Vrises is a new village. The village started to be built in 1905 and in 1925 the community that included all the old houses was created. The construction of a new road favoured Vrises, as residents of the surrounding villages settled there. Today the village has a high school, police station, dispensary, restaurants and coffee shops. Eating at Vrises can be a real pleasure; small taverns and cafes at the shade of the trees offer traditional Cretan dishes. The village is known for the good quality milk products.

Maza is a traditional village about 3km away from Vrises. It has about 100 permanent inhabitants, who live mostly in renovated houses. At Maza there are 2 taverns with traditional cretan dishes, while for more amenities you have to visit Vrises. During your stay at the village you can visit the bridge 'Elliniki Kamara' - dated back to the Greek-Roman years - and the byzantine church of Agios Nikolaos with its murals.
