The apartment has luxurious new kitchen,boasts the latest in appliances with an induction cook top, washing machine, refrigerator and freezer with microwave. The apartment faces north onto an inner courtyard. We have central heating and air-condition. The parka floor add a classy touch. One of the apartments is on the first floor, the other is on the second floor. The Art Deco building, was built in the 1900s called ' Buffa. There is a lift. We are only 2 blocks from the world-famous Negresco hotel and the Promenade des Anglais beach front, this is the best neighborhood in Nice. Walk from here down the Promenade des Anglais to get to Old Nice, or 1 blocks to the pedestrian zone with its animated nightlife. Restaurants, caf?-terraces, art galleries and all manner of shopping are close by. We are 100 Meters from the Sea.

Ski details: The apartment is Situated on 26 Buffa two blocks from the Promenade des Anglais and Nice beach. Hotel Negresco, Palais de la Mediterranean, Nice port and marina are all within a 15 minute walk. Place Massena is 2 minutes walk away, across the Nice Tram. Shopping is a 7 minute walk away with Galleria Lafayette and Avenue Jean Medican lined with fashion boutiques. Hire a bike in the old town and take in the promenade des Anglais. Take a car, bus or train to Cannes, Antibes, Juan Le Pain or Monaco. All are within 30 mins to 1 hour away. Visit the Cannes film festival, Monaco Grand Prix or spend the night out in Juan le Pain. Go scuba diving off Cannes for the day or spend the evening in the Casino in Monaco. Spend the day in Marineland and Aquasplash park in Antibes, only 15 minute drive or 30 minutes on the local bus. Fancy the day Skiing ? Valberg is an hour 10 mins by car from Nice with skiing from November to April.
Travel from the Airport: Travel to Nice International airport is only 15 minutes away by Bus, with cheap flights from many UK airports via Go and Easyjet. All main hire car firms represented including Easy Rentacar. The apartment is only ten minutes walk from the bus station with its frequent (half hour) service to Nice airport. Fifteen minutes walk from the train station with frequent trains along the coast to Marseilles, St Tropez, Antibes, Nice and Monaco. The TGV provides a fast connection to Paris and London.

I travelled to Nice - hand luggage only - for a long bank holiday weekend with my girlfriend from Thursday 21st May 2009 until Tuesday 26th May 2009.
Avoiding the bank holiday helped keep the flight costs to a minimum.
The administration procedures for reservation/deposit/final payment/key collection were extremely efficient.
The apartment is a short bus journey from the airport (few Euros) and an even shorter walk from the bus-stop in Nice!!
Entering the building was straightforward - the actual apartment was exceptional.
Very clean and extremely functional.
The mezzanine floor with the double-sized shower cubicle was a real treat.
We never cooked in the apartment itself - though there was a fully equipped kitchen (with fridge and washing machine).

I first went to Nice 2005 Years , I loved Nice so much I bought 3 apartments, 2 in the City Centre and one in the hills over looking the Med. I am sure when you get there you will fill the same.
This was my first trip to Nice and can say it was hassle free from the beginning to end. What made this week holiday to Nice so great was the fact that the flight was so reasonable (even last minute), the accomodation was so easy to get to by bus from the airport and a stones throw away from all the things to do like the beach, restaurants, transport links and trains, shops, old nice! I cant think how we could have been more central and better located than at this accommodation.
In terms of the flat, it was clean, had all the facilities you would need and allowed you to be fully self contained and comfortable. There was more than enough spcae for the three of us (all girls) to sleep and get dressed etc. which you wouldnt be able to say in a hotel room.
I could definitely see Nice as my home away from home!!!!
We are family from Russia, had stayed in DenRose place for 2 weeks.
1. Location is perfect. Shops, beach, train station, museums, bus stops are all around and very close.
2. Denis is great person as far as communication and very responsible regarding the money, contract etc.; returned us the deposit on time.
3. The 2 storey flat is not too big, but well maintained, with a very steep stairs to the bedroom hanging above the kitchen and a large sofa in front of the kitchen (in the studio like design of the ground floor). I recommend this flat for 2-3 people; it can also be romantic for couples.
4. Everything Denis promises on this web site was working properly with the only exception of the Internet signal which was very week and unstable. Given how responsible Denis is I am sure he will do something about the Internet because it was basically our only significant complaint, everything else went well. (My laptop had no problems with Internet before that in Paris, so it was probably something with the router in the flat)
Conclusion: Overall - great location, good 2 storey studio, very reliable owner. Go for it.
The apartment was comfortable and in a great location for exploring Nice. You could walk to the apartment from the train station and an internet cafe was right next door. We really enjoyed our stay!
I recently traveled through southern France with two of my best friends, and we rented this great apartment for three nights in Nice. We found it to be a great value for the money, and it was the perfect size for us. It took us maybe 10 minutes to walk to the heart of Old Nice, and it's not far from Promenade des Anglais and Hotel Negresco. The apartment building was quiet, and the apartment was clean. The appliances are new, the couch folded out to a huge bed, and the shower worked great! The window opens onto a side street that wasn't too noisy either. We took a taxi from the train station to the apartment when we arrived because it was raining, which cost us 15 euros. We were able to walk back from the apartment to the train station when we left, which was about a 20 minute walk.
Denis always responded to my e-mails very promptly, both before and after our stay. He was even willing to mail me the key to the apartment a week early (because we were traveling for a week before arriving in Nice).
This was a great apartment, and I highly recommend it!
A great apartment in an excellent location. The apartment is in an ideal location, quiet, private and away from the main promenade area but a short 3 minute walk takes you to the main thoroughfare and a further 5 minute walk gets you to the famous Negresco Hotel. Casinos, bars,restaurants are all on your doorstep. The railway station and bus depot are all within easy walking distance from the apartment, from there the Cote d'zure is your oyster. Rue de Buffa is a direct route to the heart of Nice and the Messena Square. The apartment was clean and warm and very comfortable and had a fully functional kitchen with all the necessary utensils to allow for self catering travellers. An excellent boulangerie is just 1 minute from the front door and numerous grocery shops are only a few minutes away. I would definately book this apartment again and I would highly recommend it to anyone.
This was my first time to Nice and what an amazing place it is!
The apartment is located in a great location only a few minutes walk away from the Promenade des Anglais,which was lovely to walk along in the night time. I also loved Old Nice which is great to go to in the evening as there are plenty of great restaurants to choose from.
While I was in Nice I got to go Monaco the day after the Formula 1 Grand Prix and wow just to see all the yachts was a great experience! The bus service was very quick and easy to get there and back.
The apartment is a great place to stay and I certainly recommend it. I had such a great time in Nice :-)
The apartment is only a five-minute walk to the beach. It is also only a few blocks from the Avenue Jean Medecin where you will have access to Nice's premier shopping centre,Nice Etoile, and the main shopping district, and the city centre. A grocery store, Internet café, a pharmacy and a bakery for fresh croissants are just across the street.There are large supermarkets on Avenue Gambetta and Rue Dalpozzo,only one blocks away. Strolling along the Promenade des Anglais to the Old City, you will enjoy its lively restaurants, bars and animated nightlife. On the way to the beach is Rue de France,a typical French pedestrian street with many sidewalk cafés and restaurants.The train station is only 5 minutes away with direct service to whole French Riviera such as Cannes, Grasse the perfume Capital of France, Monaco and Antibes. No need for a car, everything is accessible on foot. Only 2 blocks away is a lovely park for sitting and strolling,on the intersection of Gambetta and Victor Hugo. There is now a Carrefour supper market opened on the 30th November 2011. Two minutes walk from the apartment building.There is also a new wine bar opened opposition to apartment building. I have left some cards for restaurants which I recommend.
