Spotless property with all the essentials for a comfortable weekend with family. Kitchen is stocked with everything you’d need to cook a grilled meal to enjoy out on the picnic table or a formal dinner in the dining room. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms were very clean.
As a bonus, Paul provided great recommendations for local attractions.
Overall wonderful stay.
Just what we wanted!
We were so pleased with our choice of this cabin. It was all we needed! Secluded, plenty of room, and great hot tub!
The hot tub lid was broken, but they made something else work, and the hardest thing was finding the driveway, but the directions really helped.
Location was great for many beautiful sights and hikes! We could go for a hike, come back to relax, go again, and then back for a nice meal! Perfect!
Great host, great location, house and hot tub were great as well.
Ok place to stay
It was fine.
Great cabin and location!
My husband, another couple, and myself rented this cabin for a weekend get away for a friend’s wedding at the new river gorge resort. The cabin was warm, clean, and a great size. We only used2/3 bedrooms, but there would definitely be enough room for another couple. The location was great, only being about a 12 minute drive to the resort & the directions were easy to follow from owner. The kitchen was well equipped & we enjoyed making big breakfasts each morning as the snow was falling- Relaxing and cozy. I’m pregnant so I couldn’t, but my husband and the other couple enjoyed the hot tub each night as well.
I would recommend 4 wheel drive or a SUV/truck to get to the property, as it is a steep gravel driveway. We got some pretty good snow that weekend and my four wheel drive SUV had no issues. Along with the snow, there was no salt or shovel. With stairs to get up the house and that would be nice to keep out in the winter months for guests to use.
Overall 5 stars. It would be a wonderful cabin to return to in the summer as well to utilize the large yard, pavilion and grill area. Thank you for our accommodations & a great memory!!
This cute cabin is exactly what we were looking for. It was clean & comfortable. Everything we could have needed was there tucked away in the solitude of the woods including a Christmas tree! The owner was quick to respond to my questions & even told us not to hesitate to call if we needed anything else!
