We have renovated and refurbished our apartment and we love this little part of Paris. We hope you will too. You can walk everywhere or cycle or take the Batobus without going on the Metro. In the hustle and bustle of an international city, this is a little haven of calm. You can become a Parisian for the weekend, the week or the month! Visit museums, restaurants and bars to soak up the atmosphere and beat the queues for Notre Dame and the surrounding attractions. In winter the nearby Hotel de Ville has ice skating and sledging. The romantic Marais area has something for everyone whether it be designer shopping or antique shops. Paris is a foodie city and the Bon Marche food hall is not far away. The flower market on the Ile de Cite is also a must when you wish to say it with flowers! Place de le Concorde and the Champs Elysee are within walking distance on the other side of the River Seine. The Batobus stops at the Louvre too.
My husband and I spent 3 days of our honeymoon in Paris in this nice flat. It was a little rough dragging suitcases up 5 narrow flights of steps, and we both had wipeouts on the slippery carpet in the bedroom, but otherwise it was a great spot. The location could not be better; it's a 3min walk to Notre Dame, and is very quiet since there are restrictions on nightclubs and other loud spots on the Ile Saint Louis. It was very clean and nicely decorated with plenty of hot water and a conformable bed. I would definitely recommend this spot for a Paris excursion.
Great apartment with lots of traditional character.
Main bedroom delightful and spacious. Flat Well laid out making good use of space. Very bright and airy. Fantastic safe and central location - could not be better for visiting Paris. There are 97 steps up to the apartment but worth the climb!
I call it my Paris "fitness retreat" -- although I was a tad nervous at first, the 6 flights of stairs are no big deal, and allowed me to thoroughly enjoy my meals!
The owner provided everything I needed including good wifi.
This location is hard to beat -- much as I love Paris, sometimes the noise and bustle is too much. This quiet retreat on Ile Saint Louis provides immediate access to everything one could need (and most of what one might want!) in a comfortable apartment.
My one week stay gave me a taste for more -- no regrets, I'd be back here again if I could.
Great location + great apartment. I agree with the previous review about the stairs: maybe not great for older people (although we are in our 60s and had no problem). The apartment is superb: very clean, comfortably modern with stainless kitchen and nice bath with new washer/dryer combo unit. Bedroom is quite large. A very nice place to return to every day. You absolutely can not beat the location. Right in the center of Paris. Quiet on the Isle at night but close to a lot of evening activity. BTW: warm when we were there. In the mid 80s but still comfortable sleeping at night without AC with the windows open. Owner was great to work with. We were met at the apartment by the manager with the keys. No problems; nice people. I would definitely recommend this place and plan to book it again next year when I return in June.
Comfortable, clean, quiet. A home from home in a beautiful, convenient location. Owner incredibly helpful, including detailed travel info! 98 steps but worth it!
My family of 4 had a brilliant time staying here, the apartment was spotless and like a home from home. There's loads of space and the location is amazing, easy to walk everywhere but beautifully quiet at night. The beds were all comfy, the kitchen was well equipped and we never ran out of hot water. We'll hopefully be back, thanks Rosemary for being so lovely to deal with x
