The Nook is a, two-bedroom semi-detached barn conversion which was originally built in c.1870. The property has been recently completely refurbished and furnished to a very good standard. There is a sitting room/kitchen in an open plan living area with a HDTV with FreeView, DVD player, dining area and a fully fitted kitchen with fridge, microwave, kettle and toaster, usb charging points and a door to the rear garden. On the first floor there is a shower, toilet, mirror and shaving point. Hand towels, bath towels are available at an additional charge and can be changed daily on request. There are two bedrooms, one with a double and the other fitted out with bunk beds that can be converted to singles. They both have wardrobes and enough storage space.
The south facing rear garden is set in over an acre of stunning Devon countryside, with a duck pond and stream. There are also areas that can be used for quiet times to sit relax or have a picnic. There is a large seating area with picnic table, chairs and a barbecue, along with your own patio area for relaxing and enjoying the stunning countryside views.

With Bigbury-On-Sea, Bantham and Thurlestone beaches a short distance away, and Avon estuary close by, this is a superb location for anyone wanting a holiday in the heart of the South Hams region of South Devon, close to many wonderful locations including the famous Burgh Island, and glorious coastline. The South Hams has been designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, with its rolling hills, wooded river valleys, patchwork fields, sandy beaches, a spectacular coastline and small picturesque villages. There are ample opportunities to walk, surf, sail, windsurf, fishing and riding, as well as golf at the Links courses at Thurlestone and Bigbury, you will find that practically every sport and outdoor activity is available. Water sport equipment is available to hire on the beaches. We can offer safe storage for boards, bikes etc on request.
A few miles away is Salcombe where you can visit the boutique shops and enjoy the local bars and restaurants. The South Hams enjoys one of the mildest climates in Britain, warmed by the Gulf Stream which makes this area the ideal holiday venue for all ages, all year round.
There are shops, post office’s and pubs close by at Salcombe, Aveton Gifford, St Anns Chapel with supermarkets, restaurants and bars available at Modbury and Kingsbridge.
